The key to relaxing your right hand is expansion and contraction. It seems counter-intuitive. Your brain is telling you that if you keep your hand outstretched the jumps will be smaller. However, you will find that if you expand and contract your hand, you'll have less tension and jumps will be more consistent. Also, while it seems that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, think of the jumps as tiny arcs rather. This will activate your wrist rotation during the jumps rather than having a stiff wrist.

You definitely need to relax that right hand.
