Thanks, Eric! We've been trying for over a month and no luck, lol but we'll keep trying! Yeah there must be a black hole at the bottom of Lakeview Park Pond.
They come out great in the oven, pan seared, and of course, they come out great fried. We have been missing out by always throwing our Sheepshead back or using them for shark bait.
@FISHING GODS thank you, we appreciate it! We used to fish Bob Hall Pier during that time of year for Bull Reds but we will fish Packery and Port A for them this year.
Man I bet you can cast farther then beach bomber lol are y’all got on his shoe Cleat looking boot ? Saw your jogging videos keep up the grind videos are way better.
Idk... Beach can cast pretty darn far! Ruben and I use the Korkers Terror Ridge boots we did a whole video about them here: ruclips.net/video/T8Los5OomsM/видео.html We walk out with felt soles, which are great for the regular slick rocks and algae. When we get to the end, we throw on the triple threat carbide spike sole, which works great on the thick green algae. Lol, I'm surprised anyone saw those videos! I'm trying to get back in shape for Beach to Bay. Thank you for the feedback!
If that's what you want to do. Generally, you can catch multiple fish on 1 lure, not usually the case with live shrimp lol. For us buying live bait is an additional expense and effort, you have to stop to get it, bring buckets, aerator, batteries, and you gotta carry it out there the 3/4 of a mile. With lures, you can throw a pack of soft plastics in your pocket and take your rod/reel and be good to go.
@@MattsSaltwaterFishing Ah, now I see your logic. Just waking up to a cup of coffee here in the tropics and your comment in the video caught me off guard and I started laughing. I fished the Port Aransas Jetty for 40 years and wrote about it in my book FISHING GODS. After 40 years of fishing the Jetty, I'd rather catch 50 fish on live shrimp than only catching a couple on lures. I keep a couple spoons on me though just in case a big school of what ever shows up busting bait on the surface. Glad I found your channel, made me home sick.
@FISHING GODS I would definitely like to read your book. I know what you mean about rather using live bait to catch multiple fish vs. using lure to only catch a few. Sometimes, I like to strictly throw lures for whatever I am targeting and sometimes I rather put a live Pinfish on the slideline and wait for something to hit it while I am sitting down relaxing.
Is soaking bait cheating? If y'all have any comments or questions leave them down below. Thanks for watching!
No it's not cheating use what you have to to catch fish. Lures, livebait, deadbait it doesn't matter as long you catch fish.
That thumbnail 🔥& man them jacks are being as elusive as them rainbow trout!
Bunch of thugs

hahahahahaha.... what if you have to spend money on lures? Should you keep the fish?
