Thank you so much, that was so helpful!. I have a question about a particular fabric that I'm searching for,.. for a bag that I was asked to make., if you could please help me find it.(Houndstooth), fabric) I would like it to be water resistant for bag making,.. I appreciate the help. Thank you.

How do you use that to top stitch around a thick bag? I guess the title threw me off.
