Best Trim Restore to Use on older vehicles

- I tested out 4 different plastic restore products to see which one worked the best on faded plastic trim. Definitely worth doing to make the vehichle to look newer

I use the Solution Finish on my Jeep fenders and they went from faded gray to a deep black with one application. I cleaned the surface to get prior products removed and hit them with isopropyl alcohol before applying it. It’s a restorer, not a protectant like the Back to Black and other products I’ve used in the past. Everything I tried before left them darker, but still gray. I use Armor-All Ice ceramic hybrid wax on my whole Jeep (glass as well) and use that to spray the fenders after the Solution Finish to get the UV protection and water beading. You just have to remember to use something like Purple power and alcohol before reapplying it when it’s needed. Getting down to raw plastic it vital. Awesome video. Looking for a first gen crv right now 👍 I'll be painting all those pieces with black trim paint instead. That's what I've always done on my civics and Integras ❤️
I tried a product similar to these last year on my 09 CRV. I found that it worked great on the front bumper, but the plastic around the wheel wells and rocker was a different sort of plastic and did not look any where near as good as the front bumper. Same product...different plastic.
Yeah all these different trim restores only help to a certain extent. Almost better to paint them with trim paint

Hey I saw on another video you're from Greenville 👀 I'm in Spartanburg and I've got an ef I'm wanting to start, any tips/advice on b swapping?
Need a post mount out of a 90-93 integra, integra axles and matching half shaft, T bracket for rear motor mount out of 90-93 integra, if you keep the factory crossmember you might have to notch for the b series header, need a cable transmission out of 88-91 civic SI with a b series, or 90-93 integra unless you convert to hydraulic to use 94-01 transmissions. Also hopefully you have a SI EF that is already MPFI. If not you have to convert from DPFI to MPFI. And possibly from OBD0-OBD1 depending on ECU your planning on using
