Malte popped up in my youtube feed. Never heard of him or listened to any handpan, but decided to watch his video (Golden Heart 888hz) and was blown away!!! That lead me here and his spotify. I am so amazed at how beautiful and dynamic this instrument is and all the talented artists out there. Sub'd and will be watching your videos.
I met Malte and his videos in youtube almost two years ago and he changed my life. I knew nothing about handpan or music and now i have 4 handpans and always learning. I am one of the students in his Teacher Training program, he is also my friend now, i love him and i have never been happier. Try to get one for your self, the experience to create your music with this amazing instrument its from another planet.

im not sure if the miccing is better, malte has improved, or if ayasa is learning new tricks, but the overall resonance is so much better than that of some of the old videos

Probably 440... They are quite stubborn and money hungry people. I asked them if they can do 432 and they refused and said we only do 440 when its not always the preferred frequency... costing around $5000+ USD and have the Audacity to charge you extra for shipping and case, pathetic if you ask me. Sure they make good hand pans but terrible customer service. Only the rich can afford them... and forced to use 440hz which is a distorted frequency and not good for sound healing, and all they care about is $$$...
