I think that once you get going, it's easy to go into a trance and lose yourself and the hands take over. It happened to me earlier today. I just kept rolling with it and just flowed.
And yes. I played steel drums for years. In 1995 I went to a Grateful Dead show, I started with 5 drummers. When I came out of the trance, 50 other drummers and 500 people surrounded me. All I heard was screaming and applause.

@@РоландМариот этот инструмент называется ХАНГ купить его не сложно но ценик на такой инструмент наченается от 500$ до 4.000$ у нас в России можно нарваться на потделку так что тебе придётся искать за рубежом или заказывать в проверенных фирмах каторые поставляют этот инструмент в Россию

Согласен,но только в руках мастера. Вчера ездил в магазин, пробовал играть. Это несравнимо конечно. Криво,коряво, отстой в общем. Только тренировки и репетиции дадут такой результат.

I also use simple pickups like yours wrapping them with adhesive tape. I put a neodym magnet between the metal pickup and the tape, so I can easily fix and remove them.

I listened to this guy live ( the recording is also from my hometown), he is amazing, i have also never heard live a handpan before, and the sound is truly something else...just unique !
