i got my results back last august, I got a 7! i started year 7 in set 3 and managed to make it into set 1 with a good grade :D thank you and keep doing what ur doing
You are legit the best maths teacher ever! I used to struggle with Maths but I’ve watched all the videos you’ve done that I struggle with and they’ve made me much better, thanks so much!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Sounds like you’ve used the channel exactly for how I designed it 👏🏼 amazing news, I’m so so glad it’s working for you! Keep it up 😁🙏🏼
@@TheGCSEMathsTutor no problem you deserve it 👏👏 Could you perhaps do a video of like typical exam questions when they say about deposit and involve percentages, fractions and you have to do lots of working out etc.. that’s the kind of thing I need a bit more help on?
At 19:30, for the b part of the quadratic question where you drew a table for x and y values, I believe you wrote the last 2 y values incorrectly. Instead of 5 and 7, should it not be 4 and 5?
Thank you so much! So glad to hear that it was helpful! It’s hard getting the word out so I just hope that people share it with their friends so that every student can benefit 😁🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have a whole playlist on probability here: ruclips.net/p/PLqxP5EuGxPndF8YZPLQe6Ww0BhU6SpeIe amd all of the vectors lessons here: ruclips.net/p/PLqxP5EuGxPnemH0-L-9DGWg_jI2KvL24Q hope they help 😁🙏🏼
Absolutely I do! There are some vector questions which puzzle me for a good 5 minutes sometimes, quite often with some of the most difficult circle theorems it can also take me a few minutes to plan my route through the question! Beyond that there are a few a-level questions which stump me sometimes too, mainly trigonometric identities as I have never learnt them off by heart 😅
I use Notability but there are lots of different free note taking apps that are fantastic if you don’t want to pay for one, I just had this one from years ago when I needed an app to write with while I was at a conference and it was recommended to me so I’ve struck with it! 😁🙏🏽
Will there ever be an actuall exam question on part be of the last question?Because Ive seen a question come up of part a of the last question, but never part b
Hi. I solved the second part of the question by writing it x(x-5)=0 => x=0, x=5..... Is it wrong trying to solve the question like this? By the way thank for your videos. I learned lots of things from you
There are some questions like this in recent further maths igcse papers like: Use a *straight line* to estimate the solution of Ax²+Bx+E=0 And on the graph, we have Cx²+Dx+F=0 drawn. I dont know how we get a straight line if we have different coefficients for x². Please help.
If anyone would like to support the channel you can buy me a coffee here: www.buymeacoffee.com/gcsemathstutor Thank you for all of your support! 😁🙏🏼

Nice one bro. I’m in set 2 currently and I’m on a 7. I wanna be in set 1 with a 9 by the time I do my exams next year.

Can you do some more probability or vectors questions please those are probably my biggest weaknesses and some more grade 5-7 content

For the harder questions can you do the equation of the graph - the equation of the one we need to solve and then draw that line
Yay you’re uploading again
I am indeed! Back to work for the new school year 😁👍🏼👍🏼
im so glad i watched this it came up on my paper 1 😅
Can you make videos on SUVAT equations and Constant Acceleration please?
Great idea! I’m focusing on Pure for the moment but I’ve added it to my list 😁🙏🏼
19:08 or you could have simply done: *equation of the line GIVEN - equation of line you want to find solutions for* (hope that makes sense)
How can we access the RUclips playlist of all your videos topicwise
hello, at 19:37 i dont get why you have the numbers 5 and 7, should they not be 4 and 5, thankyou
i’m wondering the exact same

Hi, Is it ok to get different values for the last question as you can draw the graph differently using different values ??
Thank you so much

thanks
Cheers sir 😊

Hello I don't understand why at 19:31 when u draw the graph the gradient is 0.5 but if y=x-2 shouldn't the gradient be 1?
late response but if you look at the x axis you will see that two of the larger squares is equal to 1
