I have a 1968 T120R Bonneville that I restored myself including the paint. Because I view it as a rolling sculpture, I proudly keep in in my living room. Mine still has the original factory points and Amal 930 carbs and while it does take some occasional servicing/tinkering, I have no intention of changing anything on it. To me, it harkens back to an earlier time when you needed to have a few mechanical skills in order to operate and keep your motorcycle roadworthy. I graduated High School in 1969 and I well remember when these old girls were brand new.

Very cool! Someday I'll convince my wife that we need some moto art in the house. Glad to hear your Triumphs are still running well.

Great vid! Bought my 70 Daytona 35 years ago in non-running condition (warped carb body) Still runs great, never been apart (except for the clutch) uses no oil, still has the points ignition, starts 1st or 2nd kick, my favorite all-time bike. Used it as a commuter, rode it to and in the desert, canyon carving and grocery getter. Far and away the most underrated Triumph. And yeah, I've got a couple Bonnies too.

Yup, that one in the video is a jack of all rides also, and also leaks just barely.
