    you seriously deserve more attention, chess and asmr is such a perfect pairing and your videos are so high quality, I think consistency is just holding you back!

      how is consistency holding me back? Because I'm not consistent enough?
      My goal for 2021 is to publish a video roughly every 5 days for the entire year. Hopefully (fingers crossed!) the channel will then have grown to a point where it can support my financially a bit, so I can justify continuing making new videos forever. But I will keep it up at least througout 2021.

      @@ASMRChess if you manage to upload more, even at the expenditure of the length of your videos but not so much sacrificing quality, I guarantee you'll see more growth in accordance of the algorithms on RUclips. I believe it favours this behaviour more.

      @@PROofHAPPYWHEELS I'm sure you are right. RUclips lives off ads and since I only play 1 ad in every video they would rather have me post 4 short videos instead of 1 long. Ideally I think they'd have me post many long videos with ads like every 10 minutes - but that just won't do for ASMR. My goal is to consistenly upload about every 5 days for the rest of 2021 and see where that takes me.

    Chess really is an incredible game. We can look at this game that was played over 400 years ago and still have the same rules, the same openings being played today and even with all that history, brand new games still happen.

    That last game is exactly what I like to see. Set your queen up for a ruthless backline assault and just wreck havok until there's nothing left but pawns. It's so satisfying getting one of those butcher games off

    I am very bad at chess, but love watching chess asmr, but with most of the videos I just see them making random moves and I usually don’t get what there doing. HOWEVER, the pointing thingy tot indicate what your trying to do, is super helpful.

    Man, I just wanted to let you know I really enjoy this channel, and it's the only one of its kind as far as I have seen, the quality is superb. Thanks for posting these videos!
    Also, I see a lot of comments suggesting you should post more often, that's great, but don't get burned out or stressed because of it, better then that we wait a little more for these amazing videos.
    We have a saying in Swedish:

    I've recently round this channel and I have to say I'm impressed and intrigued, I used to play chess as a child but I have long since drifted apart from the game. This asmr brings back memorys and you've gained a subscriber because of it :)

    I love the sound of your voice but damn this was a good video. I found it really smart how you signaled what was happening with your hands to also have some sort of communication with us. Very good approach for this type of video.

    Big big big fan of this video. Love hearing the wooden pieces hit each other and the slide of the felt across the board. Would love to see more of this! And you pointing to squares of import when making certain moves is also fascinating to me as someone who literally knows nothing about chess or strategy haha. Thanks for the video!

    This is an excellent concept but haven't we seen these games before on your channel? I would suggest raiding agadmator's back catalog if you need some good suggestions lol. I'm a big fan of his channel too but the problem is he goes thru the games so fast beginners often have a hard time keeping up, whereas I like that you take a much more relaxed pace here.
    I've been studying chess for 6 months or so now but I wasn't aware of why you can't actually hold onto the pawn in the queens gambit until you make the opening tricks video explaining it, for example. Thx for that lol

      I showed these games here because they are the ones I had memorized at the time. It would be hard to memorize 6 new games for a single video.
      I am a big fan of chess history and I have at least 100 videos about historic games I'd like to make when time permits. I just have to be practical about it.
