    Wow. Wei Yi, who is brilliant, made only two teeny tiny almost invisible mistakes, and Gukesh just shuts the door on him like a steel trap and kills him brutally slowly with perfect precision. Total boss. It looks to me like Gukesh has the ability to raise his level when the stakes get highest. And if that level is this level, then that's too hot for Ding Liren to handle. Or maybe for anybody to handle. And if Gukesh becomes youngest world champ ever at age 18, just think how much room he has to keep improving even more. Holy cow.

    What a masterful display in the endgame with the two knights! the absolute harmony between the pieces was mindboggling, the knights just seemed to always be covering the key square/protecting the key pawns. A true delight to watch 😍

      yeah the coordination of the knights was poetry in motion. Little thorns wearing Wei Yi's otherwise persistent rook down. Gukesh had the patience and foresight to find the right slots in a drawnout endgame.

    this was such a heartbreaking game for wei yi but damn gukesh really is on another level Its no doubt he will easily win the upcoming world championship against ding liren. its just not looking his way and since he hasn't revived to his form gukesh just seems not only like a massive favorite but the clear winner at this point. such an amazing and beautiful endgame conversion done by gukesh I am amazed at his wizardry its pretty cool how he managed to flawlessly convert it with the knights in such a difficult endgame amazing congrats!

      @@shovon9412 its heartbreaking in the sense that he was defending a game which would have held the match for team china but the defense was inhuman and hard to even calculate. he did beat gukesh in tata steel but that was in blitz and not classical which is where gukesh really shines his technique

    What Gukesh did is something very impressive and i’m not sure many people are appreciating. A few moves into the middle game, wei wastes less time per move, but Guky quickly wastes a lot of his time, calculating if the endgame that will result is something he could win. His plan paid out
