I have 2015 3.8 auto. 76,000 miles. Completely stock daily driver. The only issue with the car so far is the chrome chipping off the gear shift knob. Traction control has never overridden while driving. Iphone connected fine, no leaky tail lights and average 27 to 27.5 mpg splitting between city and highway (I admit I am very light footed on the gas pedal). The car gets well over 30 miles a gallon on the highway. Overall, I can't think of anything I would change on the car. Plenty of power and the stock exhaust sounds really good to me. The car has been great.
I have owned 3 Genesis Coupes 3.8 and I wrapped the door pulls with carbon fiber and covered the auto shifter with a leather cover. The aftermarket hoods allow water to enter the engine compartment and I'm not a fan of that. The factory tail lights leak water and replaced them with Spec D and sealed them with permatex. The cars are rare unless you live in Texas, Florida or California where most are sold. These are pretty good cars if you can find them used and unmodified at a good price.
2016 ultimate here, I can play both Android and iPhone via Bluetooth on mine. I agree about the interior but like others, it can be wrapped as an easy fix. Seat bolsters are fairly cheap too. Mine started wrinkling after minimal use on the drivers side. No maintenance required light either but as long as you stay on top of that it shouldn’t be a problem. Tail lights/headlights do gather some condensation/dirt but living in CA it goes away fairly quickly.
The new 2023 Nissan Fairlady Z coming is worth it. I have a stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 automatic. I am at 71,000 miles. Based on all the research I did in 2020 and 2021 when all the quarantine started, the best options for the car are a built 2.0 engine by Travis at MT Motorsports, or have it LS swapped. The best Genesis Coupe 3.8 have been proven to reach above 600whp (wheel power). However, that is with a fully built 4.0L or 4.2L, which is extremely expensive based on what I have been told. The best 2.0 versions have reached 700whp, such as Brian Paul's car, and 850whp with nitrous, which is what BTR Racing did. I have not had any major issues with my car. I am keeping it stock for now. I hear tons of issues with turbo Genesis Coupe, and I also have no clue how people continue to blow them up and crash them. I am working at a game company now and saving to get my own place someday. Now I am wondering if investing in the new Z is a better car option than the Genesis Coupe. I mean, I already know it is, and that car is going to have tons of modifications available. I anticipate those cars reaching 500 to 700whp easily, and much higher with built engines.

maybe not 500hp exact but i’d say you can get somewhat close. i know a few fbo who are 470+
Who Bc it’s hard to get 400 whp fbo tune 470 you gotta touch the motor, forced induction or nitrous
@@peytonchmielowski2663 well he claims he hasn’t touched the internals. he is fbo with alpha speed tune and i’ve seen the dynos. it is possible he touched the internals and is lying about it but i do think at least 450 is achievable
Look up stroker genesis 3.8. Guy is putting out like 430 whp
@@Mustangkid29 Ik but a stroker kit isn’t fbo
