For the wind noise, you have to reset the windows memory, happened to me also, there are the instructions on the manual, pratically the windows is not sitting up as much as it should, so you have to "reprogram" it so it will go up as much as it should and bam the wind noise disappear :)
I use to be one of those people that gave crap to Hyundai. But bought a 2008 Hyundai Elantra because of the cheap price at the time and the 100k warranty. Never gave me any trouble for 12 years and 140k miles other than tires, brakes, a battery and oil changes. Traded the Elantra in for a 2021 Hyundai Veloster N about a month ago. Hyundai Engineering is really in a grove the last few years.

In this video the car is actually completely stock! Since then, the only mods I have done have been, painting my wheels white, stickers here and there, and the cold air intake I made a video on recently

I have a 2013 Genesis coupe 3.8 rspec, that I've put over 141k on . She's been great. I've kept up the maintenance, had the intakes walnut blasted to clean the carbon out at 100k, changed injectors out, plugs, coil packs, and had the radiator flushed. Only slightly modded. Headers, intake, and exhaust. Hyundai has come a long way! I ended buying a 2023 Elantra N with the DCT and its a riot, but I still enjoy driving my Genesis so much. Nothing beats getting side to side in a rwd car. Also, side note, with the factory horsepower of 348hp out of that v6, is there anything at that same level out of a NA V6? Especially at the price they were?
They also bottom out on the freeway. But very very fast and a good handler.
Right now I have a 2010 2.0 genny n getting the bk2 3.8 soon and this video really got me excited for it man all good vibes
I heard that the manual transmissions got better with the newer bk2 models of the genesis coupe which is y I’m thinking of getting a manual one
ive got 2 months on a 2015 and the tranmission def has some weird nips and locks, but nothing that experience cant smooth out. so ya its gonna feel clunky at first but once you get a muscle memory deep feel for it theres no problem
@@kevinapeck7451 yea I have my ups and downs with the tranny (I also have a 2015) but it’s still pretty fun to drive but definitely not the smoothly tranny I’ve drove but I did get to drive around a Gen with the coolerworx ss and Megan trans mount (belongs to the guy I sold my ss to) and it definitely makes a difference from stock

Thanks Ruski, moving to Tennessee this coming Sunday and I'm planning on getting a 2016 coupe ultimate, I was deciding between the 6 speed manual or the automatic, I do like how you ride it like a manual and don't care what others think, that's how I was with my 05 scion TC.

When I said that, what I meant was not ALL friends from high school will stay in your life, I'm still close with a couple of friends from HS to this day, but it won't always be everyone you use to be close with, and that's ok, people grow apart, it's how life goes :)

I have a 2.0 turbo currently. I’m getting 2019 mustang soon. I loved the car and it’s been super reliable, and the design is beautiful, but in 2020 the design is becoming a little outdated. Nice car tho!
Thank you! I agree the design is becoming a little outdated, but considering it's still (for the most part) the same design as back in 2009, I think it holds up fairly well.

Like I said, that's my main reason for getting the auto. Eventually I'll swap a manual into it, but it won't be a genesis manual, I'll figure out the details to it when I go full Rob Dahm with the car :) that won't be for a long time though

Really good deal! I did a Kelly Blue Book look at my car with it having 67k miles, and it's worth $17k. Go for it!

I’ve been really wanting to get a 2016 3.8 , but I heard the engine on Hyundai’s are bad ,what are your thoughts?
I personally haven't had any issues with mine, they are good for the most part, so I feel like if you keep up with maintenance (I change my oil every 3500 miles and do a seafoam valve clean every other change) and get one with low miles that hasn't been beat on you should be good!

I'd say it feels about average, definitely not that cheap. The only major thing that feels like they skimmed out was the steering wheel design, it's the same stock design as the tiburon but with more buttons
@@WanderingMike38 I remember my steering wheel had started peeling pretty bad. Any issues with that on the genny?
@@depressedsauce2898 not peeling or anything (at least with mine) but its the same design as the tibby, so it just doesn't look very cool in my opinion
The RT is better than a 370. Its mid level Porsche. I owned a great RT sounded great. Very very very fast. The body's front and rear is terrible
The steering adjuster breaks. Great seats, great radio, brembo brakes. Fast fast fast. It is very race car feel.
How's it holding up so far?
Still going well! only has around 37,000 miles on it so far, so it's fairly new

@@chickenmuffin Well she's got over 71,000 on her now but all is well! some clear coat peeling on the bumpers, but its not that bad. Mechanically still all good, I haven't done the trans or diff fluid yet so I need to, but its still great!

Do you know how many 2013 to 2016 3.8 were built.my cousin just added this car to his car collection he said there weren't many of them built but no number of how many were produced man I never new how quick this car is bone stock I have a q50s sedan 3.0T with a k and N filter and he is bone stock just an exhaust and he freaking takes me by like at least 2 cars.
I can't say I know how many 2016 3.8's were built, but I imagine it's not all that many since it was the last year of production. I also think they didn't sell many because of a lack of marketing, and it being overshadowed by the BRZ/GT86 and the 370Z
