    • @kinakomono
      @kinakomono 5 лет назад +1

      @White Panther haha thanks, I can pick up languages pretty fast, right before Japanese I studied Russian and Cyrillic, but I've got to admit that Japanese is by far the hardest, my biggest issue is Kanji... And sometimes writing long sentences I get so lost as to where to put which word, especially adjectives and adverbs. But yeah, Hiragana and Katakana are easy and some Grammar forms like want to, potential, causative etc and etc. Kanji on the other hand, I am not so sure about that haha, I just learned about 163 kanjis in less than 2 weeks, to think theres 2136 jouyo kanjis uh my heads gonna explode lol. I honestly hope I can learn at least 1000 kanjis to be able to read something, since kanjis are everywhere

    • @kinakomono
      @kinakomono 5 лет назад

      @White Panther I agree, I initially wanted 30 kanjis every week haha, and yet here I learned 163 in less than 2 weeks, I really should slow down, especially when thinking native Japanese learned all kanjis over few years span, they didnt lear it over night haha

    Sensei, is this correct?
    多分僕の部屋で秦基博さんの音楽を聞きていました。
    (I was trying to say: I was probably listening to Motohiro Hata's music in my room.)
    By the way, should I use 僕 if I wanted to specify 部屋 as my room? すいません!
    (Edit: added "trying to say...")

    • @YukoSensei
      @YukoSensei  4 года назад +2

      Gabrielさん、The sentence is almost correct. The TE Form of "listen" is 聞いて.
      Also, 僕の is fine here but 自分の(じぶんの) sounds better. Native speaker would use that one.
      自分 = oneself
      多分自分の部屋で秦基博さんの音楽を聞いていました。
      To make it even more natural, we would add "I think" since you used "perhaps" in the sentence, meaning you are not 100% sure.
      多分自分の部屋で 秦基博さんの音楽を聞いていたと思います。
      I hope this helps! では、また。

    @LtSlapnutz 5 лет назад

    Yuko Sensei, I'm unsure if you are still answering older videos but I am uncertain on how to say 'I was at home, watching RUclips ON my computer'. Mostly the 'ON my computer' part since, in English we are not using the 'ON' in its literal sense. I.e not the same as 上 in Japanese. I'm guessing I can't use で twice? Its confusing since the action(watching) is taking 'place' (computer) within another place (home).
    e.g. I can say 'I was at home watching RUclips' easily enough. = 「昨日家で ユーチューブ を目ていました」
    But how do I add "RUclips on my computer" in the sentence structure? Is it - 「昨日家で パソコンでユーチューブ を目ていました」...or...「昨日家で パソコンのユーチューブ を目ていました」
    ....or am I still wrong? Any clarification is much appreciated. :)

    • @YukoSensei
      @YukoSensei  5 лет назад +2

      TheKumaraさん、いいしつもんですね。(That's a good question!)
      In the context, the English preposition ON is used to mark a tool, not a place. It is indicating that you used a computer (not your phone or iPad) to watch RUclips, so you have to mark the computer with the particle で DE, the Tool Marker. You can watch this video where I discuss about how to use the particle で to mark a tool. ruclips.net/video/sdJARcFw3B4/видео.html
      So, the sentence "Yesterday, I was at home watching RUclips ON my computer" is 昨日家でコンピューターでユーチューブを見ていました。
      Yes, like this you can use one particle for multiple functions in one sentence. The first で in the sentence is the Place of Action marker and the second で is the Tool marker. I hope this helps! (^^)

      Plain forms of verbs means dictionary forms. That is verb form without conjugation.
      E.g
      Nomu (To drink) before nomimasu.
      Taberu (To eat) before tabemasu
      Nomu, taberu are play form of the verbs nomimasu and tabemasu respectively.
