I feel that one moment with Aang and the fire siblings in that ruined house perfectly showed off their personalities. Aang is the trickster monkey who can keep himself elevated no matter the situation; Azula is the sly fox who always carefully plans out her next move, while Zuko is a bull who rushes forward on pure instinct, often to his own detriment.... the complete opposite of his sister, pretty much. I just find it amazing how that small scene summarized those characters' core traits so well. 🙂
The fight choreography is always top notch. Not only just the various styles of bending and other combat forms, but the storytelling aspect too. Many productions treat fights as just some fun action that doesn't matter very much other than looking cool. But fight sequences are also a way of developing a story and revealing character.
@@fakecubed exactly. She complements the gaang perfectly and all of Zuko’s growth starts to show little by little, add to that Azula as the perfect ruthless villain to contrast with the honorable antagonist that Zuko was in season 1 and you get some good fucking television.
Ah yes, the episode that reveals that Katara is royalty too: all hail the Sugar Queen! I love how all the characters clash in this episode, is sooo good. And the Toph and Iroh conversation is great, especially that last comment from Toph
Sokka's boomerang is the only attack that hits Azula. It's a little details but crazy since we now know she's good at dealings with benders but not with non-benders.
1:24 it's not so much that she was pampered as much as she's self reliant "I got my shit covered, you pretend like I'm not here And everything should be business as usual, you didn't have any trouble surviving without me"
There were saying its because she was being pampered against her will that she wants to be completely self reliant. She doesn’t want to be viewed as weak.
Zuko's and Azula's mother Ursa also had long pointy nails. People often forget this. I think it's just Fire Nation fashion like those pointy shoes which people notice on Fire Nation Man but forget Azula has the same pointy shoes.
The machine following them seems so intimidating and unstoppable, but if there was any cut to the inside it would just be Ty Lee and Mai complaining that it's cramped or can they please take a nap until they've caught up to the Avatar.
I have a question when streaming this content .. does it get flagged at all for copyright and/or do they take monetizing for this video away? Pls lmk im interested 🙏🏻
a little foreshadowing:
6:50 Aang is the peaceful conciliator, trying to calm everyone down - right until the moment someone attacks Appa... 💀💀💀

The abandoned town standoff and subsequent battle is so fucking cool. All of season 2 is straight up bangers.
I would argue it starts a bit slow, but once Toph joins the series pretty much only ever gets better.

@@Ozone946 Yeah, all three of those things kick into gear at pretty much the same time, and it just goes and goes.

"leeeeaaaaaavee" is my favorite saying in all of Shonen
There the record, there really are lizards that can walk on water for a short duration. They're called basilisks or jesus lizards

They even used to have shoulder spikes
Appa shedding is a foreshadowing to BOLDcast 🤭

2:46 Too bad you can't see em, Toph
She was beating so easily cause they had 10% of their power at this moment
Not sleeping for a night isn't gonna nerf you by much, lol. I'm still 90% as effective after not sleeping than I am normally.

A bit off topic what happened to invincible last 4 ep?
Did your hair grow back that quick? Wtf
Lowkey Toph could solo Azula’s squad 💀

Wow. “Too bad you can’t SEE them Toph!” Can’t believe Katara is such an ableist… and in 2024 😔😔😔
