I’m glad y’all did the consultation in the beginning. Lots of dudes or females either too scared to tell they barber what to do or they don’t know they need to! One thing I I like to say jeezy and something I mentioned to Chris Basio I have been a Barber and in the business 34 years seen all the styles etc. but what I love seeing is how the color line is gone for the most part and no segregation in the Hairworld. Now when I was in school it was the white barber college and the black so happy we’re com together stay up young man
Johnny Day Yeah. You know I am a white guy in a black barbershop. I don't have a sharp hairline and necessarily look completely the part. I have a man bun with a fade and a big beard. And honestly I never get any black guys that feel hesitant or nervous when coming to my chair.
Just keep growing take more training go to hair shows classes at Sassoon or anything that will enhance your skills

This was me for years. The white guy with the beard, cutting hair in Black/Haitian barbershop. Only had my friends and family as clients for the first month. So this one time the day before thanksgiving of course the shop is packed and I have my buddy who is mixed race and has wavy hair. I have him come in and get right in the chair and I blessed him with the crispy bald taper and the waves on spin. All of a sudden other folks in the shop didn't want to wait in that line any longer and hopped in my chair. And I SWEAR it was that day going forward my clientel just grew and grew and now 12 years later I have my own shop with so many different clients from all ethnicities and all walks of life. But I'll be honest if I had not worked in that shop for my first job I would not have learned to cut the way I do. I feel like as barbers we tend to cut similar to the barbers we worked with or learned under. For instance I do lineups with both hands when I'm lining the left side I use my left hand and vice versa and that's something my old boss did too. Whatever lol I'm ranting now. Dope cut keep representing for the bearded white guys with real fading and tapering skills. I'll be subbing to your channel as well. ✌

The feeling of someone cutting your hair just as good or better than you do yourself? PRICELESS!!! I've never had that, but I can tell Jeezy experienced that. Most of us barbers will not ever experience that,and I've been cutting my own hair for 33 yrs. I've had it cut maybe 4 or 5 times by someone else in those years and it never panned out too good.
