I love this program, all of the programs on Dare to Dream are good but , but this one I need to say is really a blessing. Coming from the world myself I have seen many deceptions, and there are some I just new it right away, but there has been some I did not know until after I became a SDA Christian. Jesus warned us be not deceived, because He knew that the evil one is a liar and a deceiver. I pray God will continue to bless this program.
The Bible also says when we are absent in the body we are present with Christ. In Corinthians too.

What about these people how have had visions of heaven and hell? They say that they have seen some dead people in hell. Are they telling lies?

The original Hebrew word here for ‘familiar spirit’ is obe. Part of the definition of this word is ventriloquist. (H178 in the Strong concordance).
Definition of ventriloquist - a person who can speak or utter sounds so that they seem to come from somewhere else.

If it had really been a dead Samuel, why would that righteous man come up from beneath instead of from above (heaven)? This was not Samuel but a demon imitating Samuel.

I do not agree with what he said about there being no scriptures that say that when Christians die they don't go to heaven. The Apostle Paul says " absent from the body ,present with the Lord." The soul of the believer immediately goes to be with the Lord even though his physical body is buried in a grave and returns back to the dust from which it came. There are scriptures that prove this. This man is so wrong on this issue. Study the bible for yourself.
Didn't Jesus promise the thief who repented that he will be with him in paradise? What about these ex- satanists who says that Jesus showed them visions of heaven and hell and that they saw some people they knew in hell.
i agree. the Bible says in My Father's House there are many mansions...I go and prepare a place for you....
the body is in the grave the soul is in heaven.
In Genesis when God had formed the man He bend down and breathe into his mouth the spirit of life and he became a living being/soul. Body +breath = soul. When we die that breath goes back to God who gave it. Body - Breath = back to dust. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says: For the living know that they will die But the dead know nothing. Who or what is a soul? And where in the Bible does it say the soul lives on in heaven? Read Ezekiel 18:4… souls die not immortal. Please read for yourself
I don't agree with the guest as far as the dead are concerned. I believe So!omon was referring to the physical body of the dead. We all understand that the spirit goes back to be with God. We know that Jesus taught about Abraham and Lazarus. Paul too, said that it would be far better to leave the earthly body and go to bee with the Lord. Peter also wrote that he would soon leave the earthly tent. So we have to distinguish between the physical body and our spirit being. We cannot take one verse and make conclusion because it suits our understanding.
The spirit refered to is the breath of life which God gave and when you die it goes back to Him who gave it.
@@ongirodenish1907 the problem is that people speak about this things from human understanding, and it is very unfortunate. The Spirit of God does reveal deeper things to those He chooses to. Do you know that the spirit of a human being looks like a real human being? Some things written in the Bible can only be understood by spiritual revelations and not by human intelligence. The reason why I disagreed with the guest is because I know his understanding is wrong.

How do u understand the verses above ?

James 2:26
For as [the body] without [the spirit] is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
@@mercywolde5630 Solomon is talking about the physical man and not the spirit person. Revelations 6/9-11 speaks of the souls of those who were killed because they loved God.they wanted God to punish those who had killed them on earth. Each of them was given a white robe. So we cannot take one verse and create a doctrine. The souls they are talking about remembered what happened to them and knew that those who killed their bodies were not yet punished.
