- Every year we lose some songs that doesn't qualify for the final. So here's my favorite non-qualifier from every country in Eurovision Song Contest!

Ok but can we talk about how Albina from Croatia has become one of the most iconic nq of all the time?! Imagine qualifying according to both Juries and Public at the same time but being a non qualifier overall...
Roxen was done so dirty by the Romanian delegation. She said she wanted to perform standing or sitting down because she knew she couldn't handle a choreography but no, they had to make her prance around all over the stage. They told her it was "too late to change anything". Not to mention that horrible outfit. If you listen to any of her live performances or covers where she's just standing, you'll see she can do so much more than what she did at Eurovision. I'll honestly never forgive TVR for this.

Yes, Roxen can sing for sure just not while dancing and moving around that much. That was very excessive moving.
They should've just let her be still. I mean something like Remo Forrer this year could def have worked.
TVR is quite notorious for mistreating their participants. Back in 2016 they ignored EBU’s inquiries about their debt, resulting in Ovidiu’s very late disqualification from the contest. Then also this year Theodor Andrei talked about how TVR basically rejected all his ideas for his staging and forced him to take what they gave him.

For me the toughest choice is Ukraine. 🥲 I'm sure that's also a very hard choice for the uploader, that's why we didn't see it 🥲🥲

Georgia and Greece I think were both destroyed by their staging though, sadly. Very beautiful songs, but to just have them up their all alone in the back with just a white dress didn't make it memorable enough to the casual viewers

The only reason why romania nq in 2021 was because of Roxens voice, which was awful during stage.
Yep, fhe studio version is still beloved by many, but her live vocals were awful, so she couldn't advance.
Yeah, they just screwed her over with the staging. It was simply too much.

Am I the only one who thinks Roxen's vocals weren't bad? In my opinion she delivered it pretty ok for what was going on...Amnesia is still my all time favorite esc song and I still think she deserved to qualify over another entries

At this point I realise I've barely listened to music after Malta. I was listening to each countries songs in order and I haven't finished yet xD

If 1996 is included, shouldn't be Germany included as well, as they failed to qualify in that year (which was one of the reasons of the later Big Five (Four)-Rule)

That's a cheap excuse.... I love them but pl accept it, they were horrible and a competent singer could've killed it, it's not hard to sing at all....

I disagree in some parts, Estonia should have been 2014, maybe 2010, Lithuania should have been 2010 as well, Austria definitely not Halo, at least not vocally, I don't really mind about Slovenia 202w, but I probably would have chosen 2007 or 2012, I don't mind Latvia 2018 either but what about 2023? In Norway, I prefer 2011, Finland had better NQ's than 2012, maybe 2016 or 2017, maybe something from the 2000s, Iceland 2016 is so overrated by the fandom, that's why I would have preferred 2017 or this year. Or Selma's 2nd attempt. And Denmark? 2015 was better and maybe even last year. Belgium maybe 2011. Cyprus maybe Comme si Comme sa, Ela was great in the studio, but vocally it was terrible. Oh, and another question, if where counting Russia 1996, and by this, the 1996 pre-selection, maybe the 1993 pre-selection as well, wouldn't it be fair to include Germany in the mix and take their 1996 entry as the only possible option? The funny difference between Germany and Ukraine is that one is a Big 5 country and has a Non-Qualifier, while the other one isn't a Big 5 country, but hasn't got any non-qualifiers either.
