I like the concept of the liquid being applied and sticking to everything and thereafter providing a goor air and water seal. For a retro fit window application, I hate the wait for a skin to form. The opening is open and there are birds flying in. Question: Can we apply an strip of house wrap over the fast flash?
once we apply cat 5 can we wet install natural stone or porcelian tiles directly on top with thinset ? or do we have to mechanically attach with stone clip with a gap?
3:22 so when it's cured, it's still sticky? I ask because I applied it about 6 hours ago and decided to wait till tomorrow to try installing the window because it's still very sticky. I tried to put the window into the opening, and as soon as part of it touched the fast flash, it peeled it off. So I covered that area and called it a day.
This stuff is terrible. Ive been working with it for over a week and I believe this product is not suitable for a remodel window. Applying the material Is extremely difficult, because the fast flash red thickens up in the bucket extremely quickly. It’s like sticking your roller into drywall mud. It destroys roller’s and goes absolutely everywhere when applied. Slow A.F. Do not recommend. It’s gonna take 3 weeks to waterproof 21 windows.
