That little round-nose metal spatula, if you can't find one, look in the cooking tools section of your local stores....It is a 4-inch icing spatula for cake decorating.

How are you able to apply Fastflash in your gloves. I am trying to be neat and have nytrol gloves, I still get it on me. Also when applying to the underside of the window header I can't get a good bead without it creating little hang downs that plop onto the sill or floor. 70- 85 degrees. I end up doing little strokes then knockdown with tool. I found that the smaller tip bead head on my sausage gun works better than the larger cone head.

I like to have a short bristle brush and seems to do a good job spreading the hang downs

One major criticism with this. Where is the bib and how does it get incorporated!? No bueno

I just applied fast flash about 6 hours ago, I used water mist bottle about 4x, it is still very very tacky, so tacky I can't put in the window because the slightest rub will peel it off (don't ask how I know).. So I decided to wait till tomorrow, but I'm wondering, if it's this tacky now, is it ever going to dry as silicone would? If not I am just going to put a layer of special tape I have which was made for seams on vapor barriers.

The water mist bottle will help but low temperatures and low relative humidity do slow dry and curing time. Once the FastFlash is fully cured and dried there should be no transfer between the product and your window. FastFlash is not a silicone so it wont feel like one when it is dry. It does have a tacky feel, and can be kind of sticky, but it won't transfer to other materials when cured. It is immediately waterproof though, so even when temps and humidity is low, it is still protecting the rough opening as it cures.

@@ProsocoSince1939 Thanks, I was going to delete or edit my comment because I simply didn't give it enough time to cure, the next day (yesterday) it was fine, I installed the window and there was no over sticky tacky feeling or peeling issues like it was the day before. I used 3 of the Prosoco products, the pink fiber re-enforced Joint and Gap, the Fast flange and the Air Damn. It was in the low 60's when I applied the F.F. so that is probably not the ideal temp and humidity for curing. Overall works great, I found using charcoal lighter fluid cleans it off really well.

I don't see how this is superior to Zip tape 😮 You accidentally swipe against it under your arm and then now it's all over your clothes. You drop some on the ground unknowingly, step in it, and now it's all over the floor
