Second of all, this is my opinion of what "Real" Progressive House is, and how I prefer to listen to it. This type of track I just made can probably be labled as another genre, but for now let's just call it Progressive House!

Real progressive house: I thought it would sound like deadmau5 or something. But this sounded like electro house or something Swedish House Mafia-ish (without the "Everybody Jump" of course)

Mixing comes mostly from experience than theory. Get hands on and be patient ;) Though if you're looking for the theory side of mixing I'm sure theres more turtorials on yt.

Yes, this can be considered progressive house but not REAL progressive house since it sounds too similar to electro. Deadmau5's music however, is pure progressive house.
