What a spectacular review! Thank you for sharing your kind words about us as a company and the WOWSound decoder put into this locomotive. We are really happy with how it all turned out and the engineers put a lot of hard work into all of the lighting circuits and effects its their thanks for such a fantastic locomotive in N scale. Thank you James! -Carson
I have this model and it has awesome features and sound for N scale. TCS has out done itself with this model . I like the talking mode instruction manual. Its so good I ordered another one. Great video James.
Great review. I'm excited that mine is arriving in the mail today. I bought the Bachmann surfliner n scale on Cyber Monday sale for only 233.00. Mine doesn't run normally on my M1 DC layout. It runs only half speed, stalls at quarter speed and anything over half, the speed stays the same with no increase, decides to run in reverse, and plays bells at random.
Thank you for a very detailed review. I own one of these locomotives and I must say I find it most satisfactory. I do have two questions that I hope you can help me answer. What is the model number of the TCS WOW sound decoder that comes from the factory? When I try to identify it with JMRI three choices show up. WOW Diesel 101, WOW diesel 121 and WOW Diesel 501. Which is it? I don't see that info in the literature that comes with the locomotive. Second question is how do you control the destination sign/light on the front? Thank you!

Very nice product review on it.
My favorite feature has to be the flashing strobe lights, and the lighting is genuinely amazing!
A Great Demo as usual and this is one nice locomotive from Bachman. Great Show !
Just ordered one! Thanks for the great review!
I have Kato Amtrak locomotives with Loksound 5 and one of these - it’s no contest. TCS wins hands down no question. Great video, my man!
Man I wait for the day someone does the Brightline version of the Siemens Charger
