lol, if you ride my local train, you would call it your living room on wheels.... and if you take IC or and ICE....your awe would dislocate your jaw! and if you ever hit the TGV, your jaw will drop thru its floor and hitting the tracks underneath it!
So amazing, I did this exact same trip the next day. Too bad I hadn't gone a day earlier or maybe we would have met! Next time you're in Seattle, please let me know and I'd be honored to show you around. 😊😊😊
You are in " DownieLive's" Hometown! Should have done a meet-up! Next time! Those ducks are geese! They are everywhere! Good luck on your travels and thank you for taking g us with you! DD☮️
7:04 Going very close to where I used to live. Really amazing to see that bridge from inside the train, as I always drove to Bellingham, never went by train. Awesome!
The clam chowder sold on this train is good! Give it a try next time. And Starbucks being a Seattle company, this train (and Alaska Airlines) serves its coffee as brand promotion 😉
There was a major remodel done to the building that finished in 2013. There was a horrible 1950’s drop ceiling of acoustical tile, with nasty florescent lights that were hiding the beautiful molded ceiling and chandeliers. Everything inside got cleaned and polished. Outside the bricks were cleaned and repointed. And after decades of not functioning the neon lights were replaced and the clock now runs. The brick building across the street to the east is the old Union Station, now privately owned. But competing train services used to run out of both stations.
Thank you for the video. You have a very good camera and the scenes outside of the train look nice and clear and in focus. Unfortunately, AMTRAK doesn't think that clean trains are a priority and the windows are often very dirty. Better than what you will find in Canada though! Good luck!
you have travelled two days later on the exact train I took; Why didn't you sit on the left side of the train to enjoy the scenery of the puget sound and salish sea?
I'm guessing Kuga just had to take what seat was available when he booked his ticket. It was announced as a sold out train after all (heard early in the video), so depending on when he booked his ticket, choices may have been limited, if you can even book your exact seat in the first place (I don't know how it works with that on Amtrak, I'm from Sweden)
Welcome to Canada! You've taken trains in lots of different countries. I hate to tell you, but VIA Rail has a bad reputation. And deservedly so. If you like arriving at your destination on time, then don't take VIA Rail.
This is 1 of the things I hate about riding Amtrak...the seat facing the backwards position when train going forward...causes me to have dizziness. But in some places I know the seats can be turn around to face forward. To much to ask for right now..we just want the dining car back
Pls advise how do we check in our luggages from Seattle to Vancouver vice versa? We are a group of 5 (4 ppl above 65 yrs old) from Asia with big luggages (approx 28inches) luggages?? Do they qualify for the senior tickets even though we are tourist?? 😊
A lot of ducks, eh? Oh, sweet summer child. Those weapons-grade cobra chickens will make it their business to ruin your day if you annoy them in any way.
Well, I see I'm not the first, but whatever you do don't engage with the "ducks". Canadian geese are 15 lbs of hissing menace and beaky spite, and they will come after you en masse if the ones on guard duty take a dislike to you. At least it isn't gosling season right now.
Those “ducks” are Canada Geese. AKA cobra chickens. They can be pretty aggressive, especially earlier in the summer when they have goslings.
Canada's most dangerous export
Came here to say this. Flying Coyote.
Unfortunately we have them here in the US too. They do two things, one of them is eating 😅😅
They say birds are descended from Dinosaurs. Geese pretty much prove it. They are like the T-Rex of your local park.
They CAN be aggressive at times.
Those ducks are Canadian Geese and the one standing on 1 leg with head under wing was having a snooze 💤
A nice train journey
The interior of that Amtrak train looks a lot nicer than I was expecting.
Yeah... I have been on some not so nice Amtrak trains lol
Main thing is the reuben's seltzers at the food cart
lol, if you ride my local train, you would call it your living room on wheels....
and if you take IC or and ICE....your awe would dislocate your jaw!
and if you ever hit the TGV, your jaw will drop thru its floor and hitting the tracks underneath it!
What a great trip you're taking! Thanks for sharing, well filmed and edited as always.
Hey Kuga, the birds by the station were Canadian geese, not ducks. Quite a famous goose in North America. Nice train ride; I'll have to give it a go.
No. They are "Cobra Chicken."
@@swilkobarfingtoniii1642 🤣. I didn't say they were nice, just famous. Perhaps I should have said infamous🤣🤣
We have them in Sweden as well 😂
Welcome to Canada! 🇨🇦 Those geese are sleeping. Yep. Many Canadian geese sleep standing on one leg. They need to keep warm.
Welcome to Canada Kuga's Travel and hello from Ontario, Canada.
I appreciate the quietness and tranquility of your videos. Thank You.
Awesome catch!
Enjoy your time in Canada Kuga!!!
So amazing, I did this exact same trip the next day. Too bad I hadn't gone a day earlier or maybe we would have met! Next time you're in Seattle, please let me know and I'd be honored to show you around. 😊😊😊
With the dry summer we've had, I chuckled that you were welcomed to Vancouver by rain.
You are in " DownieLive's" Hometown! Should have done a meet-up! Next time! Those ducks are geese! They are everywhere! Good luck on your travels and thank you for taking g us with you!

What an exciting journey. Enjoy kuga
Thank you for sharing your experience in this voyage in this model of train, was an amazing video!
Next time you're there do go to Uwajimaya. They have awesome food and things which might help you if you feel homesick. Many Japanese things there.
Oh how exciting! You were in my hometown of Seattle. I love Vancouver BC. I hope to take Amtrak to Vancouver someday. Have a fun trip in Canada!
been to Canada....but i am also been to France...i like France more!
Thanks!
Thank you!🤝
Aw crud, had I known I'd have waited for you to wave north of bellingham station!
Thank you for visiting Canada, hope you had fun. As a home sick Canadian living abroad thanks. Come back.
Have made that run Vancouver-Seattle, but it was an evening departure, so I missed the best of the scenery. Glad you got to see it.
The ducks are Canadian geese. I live in the U.S. the geese are a nuisance where I live but it is illegal to kill one. They are everywhere in my town.😊
Nice
The clam chowder sold on this train is good! Give it a try next time.
And Starbucks being a Seattle company, this train (and Alaska Airlines) serves its coffee as brand promotion 😉
Starbuck WAS a Seattle Company.
Очень интересно с вами путешествовать! Столько всего нового видишь! Спасибо большое!
Great trip. One thing in my mind about Amtrak Cascade is their Talgo Carriages.
Kuga's Travel, Thanks Much !.......
Welcome to Vancouver! Big fan.
those ducks 🦆 are Canadian Geese 🪿 lol! you’re adorable!
I hope you will like it here in our Country! Enjoy you time!
good price, clean, cozy seats.... Im impressed :D
I am so enjoying your videos!! Thank you for taking us along with you. 😊 and by the way, the ducks were actually Canada Geese.
can't wait for rocky mountaineer!!!
Thanks, I want to see the ride to Mt.Vernon.Rode from Sedro Woolley.
Amazing
Or sometimes its called Rain-couver. Still a wondrous, beautiful city. Hollywood North
Hey! Bellingham! That's where my Dad lives! Good to know I can take a train right to his town!
Kuga, thank you👋
Nice trip. Greatings from sweden.
The "Big Ducks are actually Canadian Geese.
OMG you went all the way to Vancouver and didn't do any site seeing??? So many things to see there. Yes I'm biased as I grew up there.
Damn! If I known that you were coming to Vancouver, I would have said Hi.
Kugaaa welcome to Seattle ❤❤❤❤
I love Vancouver! Too bad you had typical Northwest weather. I went in June for a week and the weather was fabulous! Did you take a seaplane tour?
My home station!

Welcome to Canada Kuga! 👋
Welcome to Canada...we're the friendlier version of America

hi, Amtrak does not offer pre-assigned seating on this train; it is first come first serve; whoever boards the train first, gets the best seat
Welcome to the USA! Did you know? America has another international train - the Adirondack, from New York City to Montreal. All aboard!
I think the seats are "surprisingly spacious" because Americans have become let's say ... larger.
😂😂😂
Welcome to Canada Kuga!!
Those are geese, not ducks. They are pure evil and one should be wary around them.
did you fly back from Alaska to Seattle?
How can you be just everywhere haha
Greetings from Bellingham!!
Would be so much better if you could get on and off the train at White Rock.
Were you travelling backwards? I could never do that. Ducks are Canadian geese. One of the symbols of Canada.
I remember when I went to Seattle a few years ago I made a point of riding the monorail every day. Did you do that? It was quite clattery.
international train, is a train starting in one country and stopping in a 4th country, crossing borders 3 times!
And what is that red ticket for?
Welcome to Canada! You've taken trains in lots of different countries. I hate to tell you, but VIA Rail has a bad reputation. And deservedly so. If you like arriving at your destination on time, then don't take VIA Rail.
Don't worry, he's taking Amtrak. He'll never make the VIA connection. 🤣
6:04 I live there
9:22 - Goots.

❤❤❤
4 hr ride for under 200km? what kind of speed is this
Those are Canadian Geese, not ducks. lol
Don't know why the real name of the bird is Canada Goose. Seems to me "Canadian Goose" makes more sense, but there it is.
How old are you?
They are greese !
80 USD for 200 kms is not cheap!

Much faster driving
Not ducks. Geese.
Do you have to blurr people? This is the first I have noticed. As a people watcher..this disappoints me. 😊❤
I still like your videos Best. I Love your shyness..I am shy too.. and I love your sense of humor! 😊❤️
Oh no, going backwards all the way 🤢🤮
My thought too.
Never understand why so many relatively modern trains have fixed seating that requires passengers to travel backwards
Huh? The Amtrak is not cheap between sea/van, and it's an hour or two slower than a bus
