OMG, everyone here wrote essays and you still answered each one, the most stand up dude in the game. Pretty sure the Germans will fine tune the snot out of these things until they get it 100%, this just doesn't strike me as a cash grab by any means. Even though this is V1 I think I gotta have one at this price.

I’m really impressed with this for a V1 model. I think it should compete well with the likes of Traxxas, Arrma and Team A. They should definitely get some adjustable shocks on it and thread the rods on it if it’s going to be made for bashing. I love that body fastening system, it looks clean. The gap behind the drive cup should definitely be smaller to avoid big debris and rocks from raising havoc with its driveline. Seems like for Wov a V2 should be on the way next year with all these hiccups addressed. If they do that I’ll be sold on one for sure. All the best to you Evan. Great video review!👊🏼😎👍🏻✌🏼🍻

Great review! I love those fpv shots of the 4s speed run, and the water run shots were awesome as well. Def the best wov review I have seen yet, the truck seems very stable. I believe it is a contender, def worth the price, and you will have something unique. Can't wait to see what else this company is gonna offer in the future. You should do a teardown video on it, let's see what it's made of, and if there are similarities to other brands.

My wife just bought me this for my bday! Wow your 100% right, pictures and videos does not do it justice. It’s bigger than I expected. It’s an absolute beast too.
If anyone has the OG Kaiju, it’s about the same. It actually very slightly longer and wider than the Kaiju. sits much lower too

This is an excellent review. The truck appears to be very durable. I am a little surprised with the shock construction considering all the planning that went into the design of the rest of the truck. You came very close to your mailbox post. Great video.

I’m not brand loyalist, but if this was Traxxas’s 4S answer to the 4S Kraton and it was backed with their tech, parts supply at my local hobby shop, I’d be all in. I think the car looks amazing. Perfect stance fo sure
Dude I agree! People wouldn’t hesitate if this was an established brand. They just need to continue working towards name recognition and be certain their parts are as easy as possible to get, which honestly having this US supplier is huge in itself.

Very nice review as always, extensive and in depth but never boring. 😎👍That truck looks very good and did not break that easily, I would put some small rock guards for the drive shafts and maybe smaller tires, but I don't have this or any of the Arrmas lol. Thanks to that honest opinion I feel like it's a no brainer for me now. I've been looking for one but I seem to prefer oddball stuff, it keeps me from it for some reason. 😋
Rock guards in the rear would likely have prevented that axle break, good thinking!

I think you were pretty spot on in your assessment. I also agree that it is V1 of their first release and did quit well. It asking alot to be competitive on all levels with long standing companies. The shocks need to go back to R&D. Not sure the molded shock ends is great idea for the enthusiasts. Maybe some dirt guards on the arms where the rock took out the wheel shaft.

Now I'm awake and sober, I still maintain it's a great truck priced just right but by god it's fugly AF!!!! The wheels grey shade of the plastic is wrong, green metal parts in the inside, but the outside is orange and fugly grey 🤣😂❤️

I don’t know I think they can handle the power. The 4s Arrmas have plastic shafts too (though the joints have metal reinforcement).

Great review as always! They defiantly need to redesign the shock rod ends. Others have had the same issue. The rest looks really well thought out. The colour scheme on the chassis looks really good and if they fix the couple small issues they have V2 will be a serious contender! I wonder if anyone has found an aftermarket shock absorber that will work in this truck?

Just received its a great truck. But front breaking needs to be adjusted but there’s no breaking adjustment nob on the receiver. Reverse braking is great though. A lot of body rumbling in the front also. The FB needs be a little stronger truck rolls forward trying to stop a lot.
Good truck yes. Hopefully they will have ways to change brake settings soon.

Not a bad idea. I think I’ll be doing it to the granite, not sure if I’ll go the super wide option or not, but Senton is a good idea too, and definitely not done as often lol
Looks like a fun RC , $329:too . I ll use the link if I decide to try it . Arrmas sale right now looking s the typhon 6s but I’m happy with what Ihave atm with the k6s and rlaarlo cf OT . I hardly drive the 1/14 and 1/16 after playing with the size mentioned . One for around the backyard and sometimes the k6s but mine likes wide open spaces with grass hills

I am thinking about getting a 1/10 asphalt/grass basher in the future. At the $350 price point I'm thinking maybe this or a Rival MT10. Which would you chose or is there another option you would suggest?
My top suggestion would be the Arrma outcast 4s, but that adds another $100. I actually think I would go for this over the MT10. It’s faster (I think it is anyway if I remember right), has a more appropriately sized motor and esc, still has the center diff, all around bigger, wider stance, and almost just as easy to get parts for. I’d say rival is easier, but I just had to wait a month for a diff housing for my MT 10 that was on backorder. You’ll have that with the other one from time to time too I’m sure. Some hobby stores carry Team Associated parts though. Mine doesn’t.
For the first few moments running it, aIf I get it Im gonna have to put some sound deadening panels inside the body lol, high pitched, but looks good and quite durable

I've been eyeballing thus truck it looks really strong but I think I'm just going to go 6s redcat kaiju have you tried it yet and if so what's your thoughts comparing to the outcast 6s?

The only redcat I’ve got it the MT10E, which was great. I have a friend who has the machete and he loves it, and another friend that has the Kaiju exb and he loves that. (Neither are local so haven’t driven them). My only 6s is the Kraton which I love but I think I like my 4s outcast better because it flips so well and I don’t have to stress about a bent metal chassis that costs $100 lol

The diff and axle designs concern me a little.
Diffs look pretty small, not sure how they are geared.
Radio has the appearance of cheap Walmart design. Maybe it's just the color of the plastic and the uber efficient German rectangle with no styling lines lol

Yup the diffs do look weird, but they’re supposedly the same diffs they use in the redcat machete 6s, which is a bigger car and also more torque with the 6s system, and this one is only 4s. Then add the center differential giving even more durability to the drivetrain. Plus the diff gears are nearly the size of xmaxx differential gears. So in theory these should be excellent, but time will tell. Havent seen anyone with blown diffs yet.
The controller actually feels like great quality unlike many, just ya, shaped weird 🤣.

I hve not yet, unfortunately. Both seem relatively similar. Unless you get the 6s machete. I assume it would be a bit faster
Gyroscopic effect of the wheels spinning at high speed is enough to make it difficult for the servo to turn. Honestly though, you don't want to turn the wheels sharply at high speed as you'll probably flip. Seems like you're suggesting parts support should be good, and available for order from a US supplier, so I am honestly considering this.
Yes for sure, but when you can turn at high speed, it’s better lol. Also this truck sits low to where it doesn’t flip over easily which is one of the things I really like about it. Low and wide but still a lot of suspension travel. Yes I’ve been told the parts have already arrived at the Ohio warehouse and inventory is in motion.

lol yup. My 6s Kraton was like that, but I was able to adjust the spring tension. The amount more fun it was to drive after that was huge lol also a slightly better servo once my OG busted!! 🤪

It’s possible, but even at not too fast of speeds. In the Arrmas it’s a weak servo and loose servo savers (which is good for protecting the servo but not good for performance). This one feels like the same basically.
Any way I can put those clipless mounts on my 4s Outcast?
I’m sure there’s a way, but it would certainly take modification. Check out the East Tactics channel, he has a clipless body hack for his 6s Kraton somewhere from a while back that would probably work on a 4s.
I have a question for ya. can I put a set of shock absorbers for a 1/10 to a 1/12 scale?
Well it depends . Some would fit and some wouldn’t. Gotta know the length in what you need. All cars are built different
Shocks are proven weak point, other youtubers found out the hard way, seems like a good truck so far.

@@DerbyCityRCthere is! Was talking to the guys who run the site today when I went to pick mine up. Said they are already working on it. Jayteerc put traxxas maxx shocks on it.
And the body mounts. But the worst part…They won’t return any of my emails as to WHEN they will actually have parts in stock to support these. I bought two of these trucks from them and can’t get so much as an email. Don’t buy from these clowns.

How does it compare to the Maxx?
Unfortunately I don’t have a Maxx, but this does seem like it has a lower stance so might handle on the ground better without it flipping over.
It has a bit of that JLB Cheetah vibe going on.

Do you hear any clicking noise with this truck? First run and I’m hearing clicking noise sounds like the center differential maybe.
It depends on the type of clicking noise. When moving slowly sometimes you can hear the clicking of the metal gears.

Yes I’d say the terminator is engineered better than this car is. But the size and power to price ratio is what gives me the fuzzies over this one lol. Handles good too!
The shock breaking is a know issue and a fix is on the way, it has happened with othe reviewers. As abussive as you are the truck held up to your bashing which shows it is well made!

@@DerbyCityRC Jay Tee broke a shock same one, he told them, they said fix on the way. He put xmax shocks on and it ran better.

it does not mean its bad its just that arrma 4S line is super.
if you want 4S on a budget however this looks really cool other than the shocks. Those can be replaced with other alternatives if this is a weak point for this vehicle.

When you gonna run a HPI Jumpshot SC Flux? 55 mph on 3S. We need a good durability review.
I did the little mini HPI XS maybe 8-9 months ago. It’s a nasty machine for sure lol. El Camino body.
The shock ends coming out needs addressing, this is the 3rd one that has come out with reveiwers testing.

Really? I actually really like this truck. I hear ya though, definitely needs a few tweaks. But ya sometimes companies reach out to me and sometimes I reach out to them. Win some lose some for sure. I’ve had a couple companies get mad at me for showing things break but that’s the way it is. Not gonna omit info or lie about it.
