Make sure you get top notch insurance on that thing, too. The cops WILL try to break it, or crash into you. They have no scruples. Register it under an LLC, so the Baconators can't get your name just by running the plates.
That’s what we do, but you have to do it through a registered agent out of state as well to have that protection. They can still get your name. If you don’t they would have to get a warrant to pull it.

The old, overweight cop that showed up in the boots was from the Traffic Division. He was looking at the truck for any safety violations that they could use to shut it down and tow it away.
One piece of advice for Sean Paul Reyes when he buys the truck. Make sure that the truck passes all and every inspection.

As a Canadian who studied the US Constitution, I am STUNNED by the actions of the Nassau County Police Department and their other "THICK Blue line members" the County Prosecutor's Office
Our cops act just as poorly, if not worse.

It’s absolutely necessary, it needs to be visible to other people so they can see the corruption. Tax payers should see what their money is being used on; to pay for unconstitutional and retaliatory conduct by the local law enforcement instead of for things like schools and other services the residents need.
Unfortunately, no matter which major party you vote for, Commissioner Ryder will still have his position. It was a Democrat who first appointed him and a Republican who still retains him.
