is there a quick way of telling at least what decade a stamp might be from to make it easier to find in the catalogue? for example ive just picked out a random stamp, two kids building a snowman near a church, 17p, no indication of date, & my novice brain couldnt tell you which set its from. trying to look for it in my new GB Concise 2021 catalogue (received yesterday, my last one was from 2006!) but its taking time to find, wondered if theres a quick fix, i dont mind if not, i like browsing through my catalogue, just wondered. *edit* found it!!, now for the next one....

What I'd do - take a picture of a stamp and run internet search for the image. Likely will return some useful information.
