This was exactly what I was looking for! I inherited my father's collection and he had several different albums - some 4 inches thick. I find them unwieldly. Hence, I am looking for ways to break the collection down into multiple binders of more manageable width - say, by Year, country, topic, etc. The REGENT spring load looks interesting in this regard. Might SCOTT & H.E. Harris pages fit in the REGENT, along with the Stanley Gibbons pages?

Nice video. I use Davo & Lighthouse stockbooks (black as well as as white pages) with double glassine sheets to display my stamps. I paid about GBP 32 + postage for a 64 page Davo stock book (Nero G).. Don't know how much a similar SG stockbook would cost.

The small stock book shown looks like it was produced by Lighthouse. They can be purchased for around $20 US locally in any big city that has a Hobbylobby Store. No need to send away for one. I have many of these for my country duplicates for trade or sale. One for each of the big countries and about 20 of them for my US mint and used duplicates.

Very informative video [particularly on how to handle some of the albums].
However, I think no album presentation should go on without a warning about the fact that Mint never hinged stamps lose value [in the eyes of several large catalog publishers such as Michel, as well as some collectors], when hinged.
That is actually why I have renounced hinged albums like you present, and moved on to printed albums with pockets.
The only situation where I would see a hinged blank album making sense nowadays is a study collection of cancelled stamps: no printed album would have the right placeholders; and such a good-quality mounted one would give the collection the air of permanence and craftsmanship it deserved.

Well you can still use a variety of different mounts with any of the albums he showed without using hinges.

I wonder if Lindner pages and Stanley Gibbons pages are interchangeable? In other words, can I find Lindner pages into a Stanley Gibbons album?

I prefer the Devon album, it is a pity that it is discontinued.

I buy old albums from 1800s to 1930s and build off them stamp shows or auctions.

I think I will just keep to the standard stock book. The other albums are too complicated :P

Stock books are great for the indecisive. Hinges are a no-no. The hobby has evolved greatly in the past 10 years. There should be a semi-strict guidelines for children.
