To those being weird about her posting a study vlog: Studying doesn't stop just because you're no longer in school. Scholar research and research for fun happens across industries and professionals. Research journals don't just exist for students, either.
Thank you!!! Honestly part of why I’m doing study vlogs this year is because I want to challenge the idea that institutions are the only places to learn!
@@RubyGranger8 You're welcome! I appreciate that you've been focused on that, since I'm jumping into my Masters after receiving my BA 10 years ago. One of the things I've been trying to do in the lead-up to classes starting is that independent research and stretching my mind again to think critically about a niche topic. Whether it's related to my MLIS studies or just something that sticks out to me in literature, etc. Your videos have helped really reenergize me for that. I really appreciate it.
I love that. Studying for my BSc taught me that I can learn anything if I put my mind to it. Now I love independent and self-guided study just for the pure joy of learning something new!
Been following your study vlogs for years now. They motivated me back then when I was in highschool. Then throughout college and now in med school, you still never fail to motivate me along with your other videos. Thank you Ruby, have a nice day. ❤
In Scandinavia a student set up this beautiful book buying system, and all the things that they appreciated and was bothered by when they bought books for their classes they added to their book shop/service. For example buying a book someone else has anotated will be mentioned and to which extent. There are a few different categories, and based on the categories the book will come down in price or be close to the original book price. It’s a wonderful set up, because the staff can sell your books for you or you can register on their page and sell it through there on your own and keep the entire sum you have sold books for. If they do it for you, make an ad etc. they take a small %. It makes sense that it’s so successful because it’s a student who made it for students. Very cleaver person!❤
