I never heard of Igor Stravinsky's piano pieces. He is mostly famous for his "Rites of Spring" and "The Firebird Ballet". Thank you so much for uploading! I really like these pieces!
Well, I must say after listening all the way through this cycle, Emanuele has done a magnificent job of bringing forth Stravinsky’s pianistic artistry. I particularly appreciate the restraint in the forte sections. Also, the clarity of voicings are first rate.
@@aramzulumyan6380 There is no doubt he was a brilliant composer, but for me too modern. I prefer other russian composers, such as Rachmaninov and Shostakovich. And Chaikovsky of course.
The good thing about Stravinsky is that his music is very colorful and varied, approaching different styles, no piece is going to sound like the other, he was always experimental, you should try his neo-classical pieces, there are a bit more conservative but with his own touch, but I like that you mention Tchaikovsky, and Rachmaninoff is still one of my very favorites, I would add Prokofiev and Khachaturiam (I know he was no russian but armeinan, but he was a soviet citizen after all), Russia has many great composer. Fun fact: Stravinsky came to my country Venezuela two times in the 50s, there are some photos and even footage of him conducting, funny thing is that he said numbers in spanish but spoke to the musicians in english.
This music was a bit unsettlingly for me. It borders on atonal without much structure. I don't know much about music, but I don't really understand this composer.

The painting is by Piet Mondrian and it's called: Red Tree.
Came here to add that! :) ca. 1908-1910...good cover choice for Stravinsky.
Love the painting!

Stravinsky is not one of my favorite composers, but I like to listen to your choices. Some times I learn something new. Thank you.
His ballets are masterpieces despite of their profanic popularity

@@aramzulumyan6380 The Firebird is FIRE, and Petrushka is very funny to listen, I would say they are very approachable.
Stravinsky and Bela Bartok are two of my favorite composers of late.
There’s an old debate as to who was most influential: Stravinsky or Bartok?

Стравинский это столько много эмоциональный композитор.
La raja Igor y sus composiciones para. Piano
It's certainly a great feat to be able tp play the 4th Etude so fast; the best Tempo is M.M.. 72...
11:11 This one reminded me of the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song.
Did anyone else hear the opening of Autumn Leaves in the first etude?
All the composers' music come from the same AI program.
Algo de influencia de Debussy, Scriabin y un poco de Schömberg
If you say so

Stravinsky means Nantosuelta, a type of free-flowing river...
🤟😎
Yeah. I’m glad to finally hear his piano stuff but I’ll stick with his music for orchestra.

Meh.. too hectic, and gimmicky for me.
