How to shrink a platform? If you associate with shell, your platform shrinks very quickly.
Typo with the units at 11:49, the volume displaced should be in cubic centimetres, not squared centimetres.

The number one thing to consider is that a lot of people don't look into where their savings are going. Check with your bank and make sure that Shell and other oil companies aren't part of your retirement plan, and if they are, move it! I'm working on that myself right now.

She's into science and technology, this series is about science and technology. Kari should not bear the brunt for these people that don't understand the monstrous scale of the problem of making the world work.
Society would fall apart without energy. You cannot realistically, mathematically, generate enough to go around without oil, currently. With more efficiencies, materials science, and nuclear, maybe. But right now, there's so many products that people have no idea what it takes to produce without oil. Solar and wind are great, in certain applications, but it will never be net zero. Turbines and solar are not recyclable and have a lifespan. There's always waste. Life costs energy.
