- To clear everything up, I traced this animation, it took me two days and to clarify I did NOT know it didn’t count as animating. I have realized this by the comments. Thank you for all the support/info/criticism. I will try to be more specific in the future.

@xoof2 fr, as long as you don't claim the Traced animation as completely yours it's fine, tracing is a good way to learn about how to go about making movements

@@GetGoosified basically tracing but for things that move, since tracing is usually used for defining a single, still image, while rotoscoping is animating over, tho both can be used in the same way, it doesn't really matter.

This is some great work! I really do believe that animation just has to do with having descent art skills and understanding how to animate swinging arms (or just moving body parts in general) smoothly.
Dont be "ashamed" of tracing on the start (as long as you give credit to the original of course). It helps a lot at the start to get a better "understanding" of how to animate your own things later on

Tracing is a practice that improves your animation Very Quick, its gives you Reference and Ideas. Tracing has another which is Rotoscoping

Here's my advice. On the next one, inspect the frame on the reference vid and try to draw it rather than tracing it. Trust me itll help you sp much more.
