- had some room in the budget, like i said, future proofing when i can, installing semi nice stuff when i can, keeping the engine dirty all the time. the larger throttle and breadbox intake will certainly help out on the low end of this project and up top, this intake and rails setup will carry us really far, as far as we choose to go, and be a great test for intakes down the road to compare to since we know this is a great solution

I have those rails in black on my LS1 intake . Very very nice quality. My crossover line was actually slightly longer than i needed. I was 100% happy with mine. 🤙
What fuel rail kit is it and where to order..He never left the info, must not have been satisfied with it
I like the way the project is going. You've done all the extreme budget and dirt cheap builds, so I'm glad to see you adding some nicer parts and showing what you can do with them.

P.s you don't have to apologize for slapping that breadbox on there! The LS GOD should never apologize and or be questioned about not using loctite on the flexplate/torque converter bolts Amen!
I've used those rails on 2 different builds. They are very nice quality for the price. Recognized the symbol on the rails right away
Odd, I had them on mine and I couldn't get them to seal with the stock truck injectors on one side. I tossed them.
Seems like an oring issue
I thought that too, but I have a large assortment of injector o-rings, mic'ed them and still no go. We ended up deciding they were machined wrong. It was only on one side. The drivers side fit pretty good with no leaks. I just didn't trust them after that and with a gear drive pump even a small leak is massive. lol

Yeah I ended up selling the TBSS intake and going with the BTR.
I swapped from the early truck to this intake on my car. I noticed big difference in low end torque. Matched with JFR 228 cam it pulls like a freight train! peters out around 7000 rpm.
Yeah noticeable improvement on bottom end and response on my 4.8
So what I take is the do you have a part number would this help a truck with heads can that has 99-2002 truck intake!

I made the fuel rail crossover work in the front on that intake by adding a 45 degree union on the drivers side

Same here. I've got fittings of all sizes from him, great stuff. Have his steam vent system, fuel rails, and used his 4,6,8,10,16an for all types of other stuff.
my buddy swears by that guy's aluminum stuff. has it all over his C10 build.

I found those rails without fittings and lines but with the brackets for the nnbs intake for like 55 bucks. The brackets for some reason did not fit at all but i made new ones. They are super nice rails for the price
Man I wish the injectors on my duramax were that easy to play with.
do the double feed fuel lines too the rails, mount the reg centered close to the rails at the front of engine there should be enough room somewhere close under the throttle.

I think if you flip the brackets they will work with the tall injectors.
For the china fittings, a dab of lube normally helps keep the treads alive.
Maybe the line will fit in the front since you found that adapter @sloppymechanics

I have the same rail kit on my tbss intake. My rail to intake adapters are completely flat and fit the deka 80’s with no spacer. Maybe they are for the early style intake 🤷🏼♂️
Check them for vacuum leaks. I found the tbss intakes to take a slightly larger oring on the bottom. I was getting vacuum leaks with the gen3 orings on the bottom. May have just been me tho! Lol

Would be nice to see the differences with different fuel rails, but that should really be on the extremes/at there limits..
Check to see if you can get a longer AN fitting for the end of the rail
how do you like the IAC circuit on that WARR throttle body? Is it decent like the Nick WIlliams or massively undersized like the FAST?

Instead of running the spacer just flip the brackets and use the front one on the back and back on the front

I had those very same rails and I couldn't get them to seal at all. I gave up and tossed them and went with the BTR intake. I didn't trust them at 25+ psi.
Stupid question. How come you didn't go with the Holley Sniper EFI Rails? The kit is $120 and comes with all the same fittings and adapter brackets.

I bought a SUPER clean one complete with flex fuel injectors for $125. lol
They were expensive before sloppy got ahold of em lol

Is it the angle that makes the TBSS intake look shorter height wise than the what I assume was the truck manifold? I have a 96 Sn95 that I'm swapping and have the Holley adapter plates and stock 4.6 engine mounts and keep hearing how it hits a stock hood. So I'm trying to find a budget alternative.

What if you flipped the rail brackets and put them upside down? Maybe perfect then
So I answered this already but you see the bracket comes up an inch or two over the rail point and if you flip that upside down it puts the rail like 2 inches higher than it is now.

Any tips on pulling off the gloves? I bought some like yours and they Are such a pain in the ass to take off I just throw them away.
Throw some talcum powder into the gloves before fitting them.
Let them turn inside out when they come off,when ready to put them back on,flip right side out,and blow them up slightly,like you would a balloon,ready to wear.
