I like the way the project is going. You've done all the extreme budget and dirt cheap builds, so I'm glad to see you adding some nicer parts and showing what you can do with them.
I have those rails in black on my LS1 intake . Very very nice quality. My crossover line was actually slightly longer than i needed. I was 100% happy with mine. 🤙
I have the same rail kit on my tbss intake. My rail to intake adapters are completely flat and fit the deka 80’s with no spacer. Maybe they are for the early style intake 🤷🏼♂️
I thought that too, but I have a large assortment of injector o-rings, mic'ed them and still no go. We ended up deciding they were machined wrong. It was only on one side. The drivers side fit pretty good with no leaks. I just didn't trust them after that and with a gear drive pump even a small leak is massive. lol
I swapped from the early truck to this intake on my car. I noticed big difference in low end torque. Matched with JFR 228 cam it pulls like a freight train! peters out around 7000 rpm.
I found those rails without fittings and lines but with the brackets for the nnbs intake for like 55 bucks. The brackets for some reason did not fit at all but i made new ones. They are super nice rails for the price
Im ready to see what mark has in store on the fab work!! P.s you don't have to apologize for slapping that breadbox on there! The LS GOD should never apologize and or be questioned about not using loctite on the flexplate/torque converter bolts Amen!
Awesome!!!!!!!! Im doing ls swap into discovery 2 2001. what brand are the fuel rails, what part number are the fuel injector? Keep making these videos!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same here. I've got fittings of all sizes from him, great stuff. Have his steam vent system, fuel rails, and used his 4,6,8,10,16an for all types of other stuff.
Check them for vacuum leaks. I found the tbss intakes to take a slightly larger oring on the bottom. I was getting vacuum leaks with the gen3 orings on the bottom. May have just been me tho! Lol
do the double feed fuel lines too the rails, mount the reg centered close to the rails at the front of engine there should be enough room somewhere close under the throttle.
Is it the angle that makes the TBSS intake look shorter height wise than the what I assume was the truck manifold? I have a 96 Sn95 that I'm swapping and have the Holley adapter plates and stock 4.6 engine mounts and keep hearing how it hits a stock hood. So I'm trying to find a budget alternative.
I had those very same rails and I couldn't get them to seal at all. I gave up and tossed them and went with the BTR intake. I didn't trust them at 25+ psi.
Sloppy Mechanics he’s a super nice guy. Answered any questions I had. His stuff fit great with my Holley rails that I made to work in the same fashion you did here... didn’t see these for sale before I bought them
So I answered this already but you see the bracket comes up an inch or two over the rail point and if you flip that upside down it puts the rail like 2 inches higher than it is now.
Let them turn inside out when they come off, when ready to put them back on,flip right side out,and blow them up slightly, like you would a balloon, ready to wear.
I need a list and links to all the ebay parts heh. I know a lot of them but in the end can you have this ultimate all inclusive list. There so many swap parts and options on these engines. What intake is that the tbss?
@@BrianEssersGarage I hear you there I did find one for around $130~+ shipping I'm changing the throttle body, injectors, rails (cheap and cleaner return look) so I figured whatever buy a new one for about the same $. RockAuto has the cheapest I found brand new FYI for anyone looking
I purchased this kit from FASS after watching your video. Very good quality and easy installation
So, who makes the rails?
Im really looking forward to the end results of this project!

What fuel rail kit is it and where to order..He never left the info, must not have been satisfied with it
That's a great price for the rail setup, and it looks like good quality as well!
I have the same rail kit on my tbss intake. My rail to intake adapters are completely flat and fit the deka 80’s with no spacer. Maybe they are for the early style intake 🤷🏼♂️
I've used those rails on 2 different builds. They are very nice quality for the price. Recognized the symbol on the rails right away
Odd, I had them on mine and I couldn't get them to seal with the stock truck injectors on one side. I tossed them.
Seems like an oring issue
I thought that too, but I have a large assortment of injector o-rings, mic'ed them and still no go. We ended up deciding they were machined wrong. It was only on one side. Well dang that's odd
Yeah I ended up selling the TBSS intake and going with the BTR.
I used to love the Magic School Bus.
Glad to see you took the hammer option, please continue!
I swapped from the early truck to this intake on my car. I noticed big difference in low end torque. Matched with JFR 228 cam it pulls like a freight train! peters out around 7000 rpm.
Yeah noticeable improvement on bottom end and response on my 4.8
So what I take is the do you have a part number would this help a truck with heads can that has 99-2002 truck intake!

I think if you flip the brackets they will work with the tall injectors.
Those are some nice looking rails!
Check to see if you can get a longer AN fitting for the end of the rail
Awesome!!!!!!!! Im doing ls swap into discovery 2 2001. what brand are the fuel rails, what part number are the fuel injector? Keep making these videos!!!!!!!!!!!!
how do you like the IAC circuit on that WARR throttle body? Is it decent like the Nick WIlliams or massively undersized like the FAST?
You'll be happy with fasster. Ive never been disappointed.
Same here. I've got fittings of all sizes from him, great stuff. Have his steam vent system, fuel rails, and used his 4,6,8,10,16an for all types of other stuff.
I never noticed how freakishly long the runners are until this video. I am still accustomed to the last SBC vortec in my mind
I made the fuel rail crossover work in the front on that intake by adding a 45 degree union on the drivers side
Thanks for this comment. I want this rail but I need the crossover in the front.
Where did you get the rails?
iirc FASSTER performance
Check them for vacuum leaks. I found the tbss intakes to take a slightly larger oring on the bottom. I was getting vacuum leaks with the gen3 orings on the bottom. May have just been me tho! Lol
How about that link for the rails? Im installing tbss intake rn and struggling to find correct rails. Jegs cheap rails dont fit at all...
Did you ever find rails to fit? I'm about to do this intake swap

Maybe the line will fit in the front since you found that adapter @sloppymechanics
Was going to post this as well.
Update us if u try that and it fits!thanks!
Love that color red! Looka awesome against the black!
do the double feed fuel lines too the rails, mount the reg centered close to the rails at the front of engine there should be enough room somewhere close under the throttle.
Man I wish the injectors on my duramax were that easy to play with.

Flip the brackets to avoid the spacers?
great idea, but it would have made them too high
What I was thinking. Darn
Would be nice to see the differences with different fuel rails, but that should really be on the extremes/at there limits..
I had those very same rails and I couldn't get them to seal at all. I gave up and tossed them and went with the BTR intake. I didn't trust them at 25+ psi.
Stupid question. How come you didn't go with the Holley Sniper EFI Rails? The kit is $120 and comes with all the same fittings and adapter brackets.
what size accessory belt do you use for that setup
For the china fittings, a dab of lube normally helps keep the treads alive.
Hey dude Hot Rod had an article about LS cylinder head flow and how it effects the power band vs the older SBC no news to you probably
is everything purposely upside down? -Parts boxes -outlets -fuel rails.
Fasster for the win!!! My whole fuel system is their products
Can u provide info on the rail kit in this video ? Thx mark
What size is that throttle body? Is that a TBSS instake?
Should be able to try it in the front now right?
Not too much vertical play in the injectors??
Does anyone know if that Warr throttle body he shows in the video is any good? Is it a 92mm? Thanks
Yes
whats the link for this kit if they still are making it
my buddy swears by that guy's aluminum stuff. has it all over his C10 build.
Can u swap the extension to the back of the shorter (drivers side) fuel rail
What fuel pressure sender are you using?
What TB is that and where do you get it would like to get one
did you make 600 on the G with de-capped lsa injectors on e85? I must have missed that one..what did the decaps flow?
Thanks again!! drive fast!!
Fasster llc. I have his ptfe lines and fitting. Solid products and affordable
thats him!

Hes got no idea that his entire inventory is about to be cleaned out by a bunch of sloppy maniacs. 😂
Starion Slider haha I wasn’t hoping to avoid sloppy tax
“Little bit of pee”, such a dad now. Lol
So a NNBS intake is same as TBSS
And the BFH for the win!!!
Which fuel rails are those?
Fasster
Matt what and where did you get those clips that were in the injectors?
They are stock, stock intake
Soab I’ve got two intakes and don’t have these in them lol I will have to go to the junkmart and get these. Thanks for the heads up
What size is that throttle body?
How long are the spacers??
What if you flipped the rail brackets and put them upside down? Maybe perfect then
So I answered this already but you see the bracket comes up an inch or two over the rail point and if you flip that upside down it puts the rail like 2 inches higher than it is now.
@@SloppyMechanics ah I see. Was just thinking out loud, through text on the internet. Thanks bud
Does it fit on the front now?
can you please throw some dirt on the new intake? It is waaayyyy too clean to throw on the 4.great.
Any tips on pulling off the gloves? I bought some like yours and they Are such a pain in the ass to take off I just throw them away.
Throw some talcum powder into the gloves before fitting them.
Let them turn inside out when they come off, when ready to put them back on,flip right side out,and blow them up slightly, like you would a balloon, ready to wear.

And here we go boysssssss
Why the nnbs?
Is your dyno still LS swapped
Yep zero issues with pickup since I did that
👍👍
I had never seen the 2 throttle bodies next to each other holy shit
What size throttle body is that on the nnbs tbss intake?
AutoMoi think like a 102mm
Probably that 92mm from g-plus
What oil pan are you using
There is video about that. It's a Holley part I think.
Holley 302-3

Link to the rail kit?
Search tbss fuel rails on ebay.
novaracer2000 found them in black as well. Which tb?
There is a previous vidso
@@rebelfromva warr performance, think its a 92mm
"He said nuts" haha
been looking for a NNBS intake for about a month. . . Sloppy tax is REAL man lol. . .going to just get one from Rockauto.
I bought a SUPER clean one complete with flex fuel injectors for $125. lol
They were expensive before sloppy got ahold of em lol

Anyone tried them on a gen3 intake?
Want to sell the stock NNBS fuel rails? I am looking for a set.
i have a set
I was getting worried about the fuel rails being too nice, until you used your sloppy spacers, not worried now!!! Lol
Yesss🤘🏻🤘🏻
Bet when it goes to marks that bread box disappears and an Amazon intake will magically appear.
me screaming at the tv put it in the front lol
LOL, I thought I was the only one!
Yah!
Instead of running the spacer just flip the brackets and use the front one on the back and back on the front
"self debate"
Sounds like me switching engine programs 3x during a project.
Bigger hammer on fire wall. LOL
Surprised there is any spare cash
im pretty good at this, lol
What’s spare cash....? Nice work!
400 for intake, rails, regulator, throttle body.
Needs a sticker that says "No cash on board, driver is married"
