The Sox needs bats. They have some pitching in the minors. The Padres deal needs to start with Salas or merril. No thank you on the brewers prospects or the Cardinals prospects. You should remake this video and focus on bats with power because there's non in the white sox system.

the sox consistently undervalue guys like this. cease was traded for way less than any of these proposed deals, and garrett crochet only has half a year more of team control than cease did at the time while having significantly less of a workload to base his value off of. the crochet deal should be similar to a cease deal, but slightly more because he will be paid basically nothing for the rest of the year. if the sox are asking for a guy like salas then they aren't getting a deal done at all

This guy does not know who Jacob Misiorowski is and he has Tyler listed as a 2nd baseman. So the realism in this video on that trade is about video game level. 1st Jacob is worth more in trade value than Crochet is even if this program he is using says otherwise. I could see the Brewers trying to pick Crochet but really the amount that they are predicting is just ludicrous I think Owen Miller, Joey Weimer , Luis Castillo would probably be more like what they would do there . Maybe if the Sox dug in and demanded a true gem Cooper Pratt could be a worthy trade prospect with high end future value. The Crew should do this trade but not if it cost the farm to do it.

  • @enjoylife7030

Wow, this was a very good trade talk video but although its only 13 days old, now the Orioles have lost Bradish to TJ surgery as well, our third this year with Means and Wells. I still think if the O's can make a deal for a starter it will be a veteran because of the playoff race and issue of innings limits on Crochet. I also don't see Elias trading any of Holliday, Mayo, or Basallo. The others could definitely be dealt most likely Norby, Kjerstad, Beavers, McDermott or Stowers.

Padres one needs to add Lesko or DeVries imo, Phillies is lacking imo I would need Aidan Miller to headline the way Mayo does the Orioles one, Others are solid just comes down to personal preference

@@ElephantInTheMfRoom Aidan Miller will take over 3rd, when Bohm moves to 1st and Harper to DH. The Phillies aren’t resigning Schwarber or Casty. Surprisingly Dombroski is keeping the farm intact and Miller would’ve been gone at last years deadline if he was going to trade him. We shouldn’t give a top 100 prospect for a guy who plays 50 games a year. Finally, he’s signing some high priced FAs, and bolstering that with a strong farm and young players. The Phillies daycare (Bohm, Stott, Marsh, Rojas, Suarez) are finally coming together. For the first time since 2006, this team is built for sustainable success for now and in the future.

Not being willing to trade Miller for Robert is kinda stupid imo tho, Robert already a young superstar with team control, if you’re lucky that’s what you hope miller can become close to. The already is will always be more valuable then he could be. Plus Phillies are already contending, this would be a move to put them over the top and get a potential mvp candidate for years (he would be so much better once leaving Sox lol). @@LiamlaChapelleYonson he may indeed be worth more, but I said that's not a move Elias will make. It's not in line with any trade he's ever done and the Orioles love Mayo. Also, there is no way Crochet would front the Orioles rotation. Corbin Burnes does, and Bradish was 4th in Cy Young last year. You value Crochet (not Grochet), and rightfully so. But based on how Elias operates, the Orioles aren't going to overpay ever, especially for a guy with a lot of potential but has an injury history, is on an innings limit and is in his first year starting. He would be a great add, but doesn't fit as a starter for a playoff run based on his inning limit this year. Now, if they put him in the BP for the rest of the year, then yeah, he helps in the stretch run and could start next year. But again, giving up a guy (Mayo) with among the strongest arm and among the best power in MiLB isn't nothing.

I can see them trading Fedde but Crochet? But then again they're in a similar situation with Crochet that O's were in a few years ago with John Means who was their best pitcher when they were losing 100+ games/year. Means has done next to nothing since O's have been good because of injury issues and probably is done as a big league pitcher after his second TJ at the age of 31. The best deal on the video was the Brewers and there is 0 chance they would ever give up that for Crochet. Misiorowski is the best pitcher in the entire minors Ranked the #1 overall pitching prospect in BASEBALL . Misiorowski would cost MORE than Crochet alone. If you had the luck of getting Tyler Black you would have an instant All Star candidate but that again will never happen because Crochet is not worth that kind of value. As Tyler Black is about of sure of a thing as there is in the minor leagues and is also the same speed an De La Cruz is on the record. So he instantly would be your teams best player . Everyone of these trades is completely never going to happen for a guy with less than 75 innings pitched EVER. You do not have a Daniel Wheeler there on the block. The best you are going to get out of the Brewers of any of these teams are high future guys with expected long and solid futures in baseball like Joey Weimer, Owen Miller, that would be more on that level and for your chance at a real superstar Cooper Pratt would give you that shot at a top their hitter someday.

@@paulriker with the Dodgers now involved you should shoot for the moon . The Dodgers bring a big ability to draw good players into your farm system and even your current roster. Now given the Dodgers call to the trade table the entire thing just got extremely interesting. There is every reason to shoot for the highest trade because the Dodgers can afford it . They might even just try to buy Crochet with cash from the White Socks which will help no one but the Dodgers. The Brewers will have to give up a piece they do not want to if they want to hang with the Dodgers in this trade war now.
The one thing i disagree with is that you do not have to trade Crochet. I think you are forced to trade Crochet. I also think Fedde will have to go too . There is simply no ability to hold onto someone that needed and valuable when you need so much to become relevant . . The White Sox are... and I do not mean this to be insulting at all to your team or you but they are a terrible program with a weak farm system to build anything for the coming years. They will not be needing Ace pitching for some time which I know is a hard pill to swallow but the best thing for the White Sox right now is they suddenly have the power to invest to get much better now because they have star pitching available . There is no future with Crochet or Fedde on this roster past July. I would expect you see them start moving any day now.

The chances of the Brewers traded Jacob Misiorowski for Crochet are 0 .0001% . A couple things Tyler Black a 1st baseman not a 2nd baseman and that value chart is wrong ! He is just to good to trade off right before the payoff without significant compensation . I could see them trading off Jake Bauers before they would trade Tyler Black. I think the Brewers will try and make this trade for Crotchet but not with that level of risk involved at that price. They will never give up the best pitching prospect in baseball he is not only the Brewers #1 pitching prospect He is THE #1 pitching prospect in ALL of Baseball. Misiorowski is far to good to ever dream of trading and his value at 29.3 on that chart is ridiculous. This would have been a great season for the Whitesox to get a competent manager, not Pedro Grofol, because they have some great pieces to trade, I mean Louis Robert basically makes this team look competent. I mean they could have hit the ground running for next year. I mean their is no reason there three very desirable peices should not have them in a championship window this year, and of course the last championship window had monumentally bad luck. But I have no trust in Jerry Reinsdorf, this team, this franchise will never reach its full potential with Jerry Reinsdorf not valuing competence and winning over his families relationships. And that is why I’m turning in my fan card, BECAUSE THE WHITESOX WILL EVER BE A COMPETENT ORGANIZATION WITH JERRY REINSDORF RUNNING IT AS HIS LITTLE FIEFDOM, HE WILL ALWAYS PROVE CHICAGO WHITESOXS FAN TO BE SUCKERS.
