Being a redsox fan I watch tons of minor league & major league games. Take my word for it Todd. You guys got quite the haul from Boston on this trade. You gotta love Montgomery. Power hitting switch hitter and above average outfielder. He will soon be in your outfield and Teel is a good catcher with multiple tools. Meidroth could soon be in your infield. Gonzalez needs more minor league seasoning. This injection of prospect talent is just what the doctor ordered for you guys. Go White Sox !!!! Joe

I agree great deal for both teams you guys got an Ace for long line pending injuries of course. My Sox are loaded and with some luck and quality development Sox should be contending sooner than later IMO

Bryce Harper was a catcher before his pro career began. Decent outfielder and perfectly good first baseman. So lots of precedent for the White Sox to mix and match these new talents.

TBH, the WS did well to get these four prospects. I might have offered four other highly rated prospects that haven't excelled quite yet, like OF Miguel Bleis, INF/OF Nazzan Zanetello, INF Mikey Romero and SP Luis Perales. Perales is the top ranked pitching prospect, but he will be out in 2025 with TJ surgery. The others were first and 2nd Round picks that have gotten off to slow starts.

At this point it's nearly impossible to be optimistic about this. Teel and Montgomery have promise but with how we handle young talent we'll see these guys in their prime playing for other teams. Hopefully we bring up Colson and Noah next season, possibly Hagen for some exposure

What I'm glad to see is that the cubs didn't get him.

Im sorry, but its hard to get excited. If these prospects mature into good players, Jerry will trade them away too, because they will demand more money!

He’s let talent players walk in FA too. Like the last rebuild, JR is willing to extend a player on a team-friendly deal

@@maverick1956hktrue, but he’s a tax expert and a business man so he probably knows more tax knowledge than the average Wsox fan.

Red Sox were fleeced. They need to get a GM that is not quite so intellectual and a bit more smart.
