Brett is wrong to bring up the racial makeup of the early baseball leagues. This is revisionist. Leagues must be dealt with in historical context. Otherwise, are we creating an algorithm for each era? PEDs? Train travel? Field conditions pre-turf? This is insane, but predictable in this time of unmitigated arrogance.

Grady was dealt a bad card. Some of the best players were admittedly poorly traded (thanks idiot Getz) at the trade deadline. He deserves a chance.

They were always bad , in the 20’s and 30’s when there were 8 teams they were always 2nd division 6th, 7th so yes I always thought they could be this bad (ask your grandparents)
