C' est ce qui fait que Bach est unique. Ce qui disent que Bach est mathématique (sous entendu rien d autre...) ne perçoivent l' autre face de l' univers...
The transferring of the themes between the two hands in the fugue is simply astounding. The sleight of hand is amazing. And with such clarity. Amazing performance
@@aliceko4695 yea it does. Its more like sound engineering than music tbh. The fact that someone with no muscial experience or training can make a decent 'song' its just sad
Hello Paul! I don’t know if you’re taking requests at this time, but I would love to hear your interpretation of Rachmaninoff’s transcription of Liebeslied. I hope you consider it!
even the fugue is fairly easy, id forgotten that part, but practically every piece connects to another one. From what i remember, the second book is more freeform and experimental
My instructor always reminds me to finger pedal vs actually pedalling when I play preludes because you get docked points if performing for RCM. However, it sounds WAY better.
The Prelude is awfully played to be honest. Especially at the beginning when left and right hand's are out of synchronisation. I swear my soul died during those. But Fugue was really nice! I really recommend Richters recording of this beauty.
Bach must have had an infinite pool of epic ideas in his head.
And he could make something out of every idea
@@rayancharafeddine4982 What a incredible man.
I think Bach must have been a dude who just would not shut up.

amazing fugue congrats to your playing and bach's genius
Bach is not a composer,he is THE composer! Nicely played, sir Paul Barton!
Oh wow finally!!! This is my favorite piece of all times!!! Thank you soo much for making this video!!!
Beautiful as always
Thank you for all your work, Paul. You inspire me to become a pianist!
My favorite of Bach preludes.
Thank you
Bravo. Ingenious composition performed beautifully.
That Cm7 moment at the final cadence in the fugue is a vibe
woooow this fugue looks so incredibly difficult!!
This looks like one of the more difficult fugues in the wtc
That's because it is.
It is! It’s very difficult to voice the entries of subjects when there’s so much going on!
The best fuga in 2- nd book WTC
D major is probably the best
F sharp minor and A minor
I can't imagine what human dislikes this
Noooo, don't challange me to do such things! 😂🤭

this was one of the first pieces i got because it was slow, along with number 1 and number 4

The fugue is madness
Paul whats about Bach’s English Suite N2 Prelude in A Minor, can u do for us ?
Great fugue, man! What do you think about this fugue by Landowska?
Hi Paul!Thank you for playing this amazing piece!!!Please play 5 transcendental etude by Lizst
La fuga è bellissima...
❤️
5:00 only me remember a Beethoven's style??
You're not alone, I really consider J. S. Bach as the inventor of romanticism. XD
You mean that repetition at 5:05? XD

а вообще, я думаю, что именно эту пьесу держал в голове Шуман при написании Проклятого места из Лесных сцен
sometimes its too perfect and i wonder what just happened.

Finger ped? Is that just holding the notes as long as possible?
@@AnthonySlater basically legato or holding notes longer than written to get a pedal effect

I recommend Bach Wtc 1 And 2 Czerny Edition
Czerny edition is terrible
Beautifully played. Altough, I didn't like the composition very much.
Lol ok, I'll make sure to let Bach know.
@@kreatorkrazy2423 He was a great composser. I just didn't like this one.
Prelude is played way too slow and needs more ornamentation.
Make a recording of you playing it better then.
I disagree, to be honest.
This is one of the best (most heartfelt) performances of this prelude I've ever heard.
Tempo = perfect.
