Awesome tutorial on a boat again dude. This is the kind of stuff I love from you. So clear and easy to understand and doing it on a small wake makes it so much more relatable for so many. I've been going wake to wake regular for a good few years but neglected switch. I'm now trying to force myself to ride switch and practice one wake 180s until I'm confident with the landings. This video is great to remind me what I need to concentrate on👍
Appreciate your explanation on the progressive edge through the wave and maintaining that edge. I’m making the mistake of flattening out when I stand tall, losing a lot of pop. Can’t wait to head out and see if I can apply the knowledge now!!
Thanks for another great video David. One question--I get so confused by hearing so many people say to hold your edge through the wake. In your video (and in pretty much every video of pro riders I've seen) the board is getting flattened out right as you come into the wake and you're seemingly coming off your cutting in edge greatly (right at 4:13 in the video). If I try to hold my same edge I'm cutting in on through the wake I get zero pop. Can you elaborate on this please? It's it really that you just need to not entirely lose your edge but you need to flatten out some?
I recently traded my seadoo wake in on a 22 foot pontoon to try to entertain my whole family instead of one or two at a time, problem is and who would of thought that this behemoth makes less wake than a jet ski so how about a what is possible behind a pontoon if you come across the opportunity?
Pontoons move a lot of water but it’s all below the surface, mine weighs over 4000lbs empty and with a 115hp Yamaha it tops out at 38 mph with 2 people on board,I’ve had 9 people on and almost no difference in wake, just slower,I will whip the heck out of a tube though and would be awesome for slalom
my guess is that body motion will be working w the force thats pushing u up into the air allowing u to keep rising whereas if u pull the rope upwards and into ur chest, that will counteract ur jump height giving u less air and unable to cross the wake
This is awesome. Glad to see some tutorials again. Almost prefer seeing it on the small wake!
Thanks man! Hahah it’s great to do them on the small wake too. However I’m craving a big juicy centurion right about now 😂

This video couldn't have had come at a better time haha
Amazing to hear. Good luck!
THIS IS AWESOME AND IT WORKED!!!

Great tutorial man, I really enjoy your videos. Been close to clearing the wake consistently for a while now and I'm stoked to try these tips out!
I love to see this guy. You helped me so much!
Sick🤘🤘 I’ll be using these tips today!!
Awesome! Hope they helped!
This is sick. Thanks for the video, next time I’m going to try shortening the rope a little!
Awesome! Fingers crossed it works!
Centurion Crew 💚😎 thanks bruh!
Yeeooow!!!
Awesome! Love it. Gota try it now ;)
great content
You're a stud. Excellent Tips. Let me know you come to South East Michigan! I don't have a Centurion, but my LSV does a good job. ;-)
I'm in Indiana! 🙌
Thank you and thank you! Will do. Hopefully get stateside soon 🤞🏻
THANK YOU 🙏
Hope it helps Lindsey

Would like to hear an explanation of this as well. When I do for axample heelside backrolls I do release at the top of the wake.

Ohh that’s very interesting. I wonder does anyone in Ireland have a pontoon (they’re not very common here). If I can find one, I’ll do it!
get more people and weight on the boat? invest in some super sacks?
@@DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder maybe buy a different prop?

Pontoons don't really make wake. just practice flat stuff if you can still progress that way. Shoulda traded for a wakeboat.
I’m curious, why push down on the handle? I hadn’t heard that tip before.

Hey 👋
I was wondering how you know when the perfect time to stand up is when you going to jump the wake?
You just kinda learn with practice (Ik this answer is late and unhelpful but it’s true lol)
Directions unclear, ended up with board strapped to my hands.
Was the boat suppose to go in the water? Cause I just rolled it off the trailer.....
Hahaahahah!
now this is more my speed
🙌🏻🙌🏻
I mean you could of put a little weight in that boat. Wake looks like a pontoon is pulling you 😂
Bruh I’m trying to jump higher but I can jump higher than the guy in the vid lmao
