It would have been helpful to show how you determined which mount posts to use and what purpose the other parts in the kit serve (ie. the long straight, uncurved brace piece). The video was a bit skewed when showing the attaching of the posts to the cross braces. Thank you though for the video.
I just got these and LOVE the height adjustability made working with some of the bodies I have doable! Wondered if you could comment on them seeming to be a bit 'skinnier' than the stock mounting holes? I'm finding when I get slash 4x4 bodies with pre-drilled holes these are a bit too close together to fit in the holes quite right? Is that normal or are mine maybe just a little off?

Hi BD Tennessee, They are separate. Here is the link to our Crosshair Mounting Kit: www.prolineracing.com/accessories/crosshair-body-mounting-kit.asp We hope this answers your question, Thanks for your interest and support!
I'm installing mine on standard posts made for body clips. After removing the part where the body clips go, What size hole do I drill for the the best fit for the set screws?
They work awesome and I'm never going back to using body clips again. I don't remember the size of drill bit I used but I think proline tells you the size themselves. I'll see if I can find it
it would be nice for proline to have a universal & adjustable proline body mount. i hope proline hear this rc customer request for all. thank you in advance.
I'm sorry but we have not tried fitting this on the ECX Ruckus 4x4. If you buy it from us at prolineracing.com and you can't get it to fit, we can exchange the product for you, you would just have to send back the original product.
+John appleton Here is a link of everything that we make for the ECX Torment 2wd www.prolineracing.com/ecx-torment-2wd/ The bodies will work on this vehicle with the use of a tall body mount. Unfortunately, Pro-Line does not currently make a tall body mount for this vehicle.
it may be possible with modification. one popular mod is to use the secure-loc caps along with your stock mounts, also requires drilling into your mounts to accept the M4 Size Set Screws (included). www.prolineracing.com/performance-parts/pro-line-body-mount-thumbwasher-kit/
Hello Shane, These are our F-11 2.2"/3.0" Wheels and yes, they will fit on your SCTE. here is a link: www.prolineracing.com/wheels/f-11-2.2/3.0-black-wheels/
Hello Shane, I hope this is the answer you are looking for... Your cars speed depends on several things: 1. Gearing, 2. Battery choice, 3. Motor choice, 4. Speed Control, 5. Aerodynamics, 6. Suspension, 7. Center of gravity I'm sure they are other variables, however, these are good place to start. The biggest and most immediate improvement on your vehicles speed will come from the Motor and battery choices. the more voltage you can get to your motor the faster your car will go. however, along with that speed you will encounter several items that will need an upgrade along the way.
Hello Gregory, one solution for this is to put a small piece of tape, or some sort of thin protective coating such as shoe goo or silicon around the area near the post hole on your body to prevent these scratches. hope this helps! Thanks for your support.

Will the extended body mounts mount right up to the stock body and line up with the mounting holes?
It's possible that you may need to make new mounting holes in a stock body.
Amazing tutorial brother. Thank you for this
Would I have to trim the actual posts because the rears are to long.
it would be nice for proline to have a universal & adjustable proline body mount. i hope proline hear this rc customer request for all. thank you in advance.

You didn't show setting the height
This system doesn't work on the 2wd bigfoot edition
So dope.
The kit is great unless you upgrade to the EHD shock towers, then it doesn’t fit sadly.
Good video, but that song is so annoying.
Use better lighting and camera angles...
