Bluebells new formation of four Bulleid coaches looked superb, as impressive as the locos. Nice to see the class 0415 in its fresh BR paintwork getting an airing, very elegant loco, hopefully one day that will be back in steam.
What a magnificent line-up of London & South Western Railway locomotives at the very end; No. 30587 representing the lines around Wadebridge, No. W24 "Calbourne" representing branch lines of the West Country as well as the Isle of Wight, No. 30583 representing the Lyme Regis branch line, and No. 30096 representing Southampton Docks. Also, for those enthusiasts who haven't being to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, "Calbourne" returned to the mainland once again just for them.
I believe the Adams radial is currently low on the list for overhaul as it is relatively unsuited to the bluebell railway. I heard it through the grapevine that it would be about 10 years at least, but don't quote me on that one :).
What a pity a leading steam railway magazine's self-back-patting over repainting the Radial Tank couldn't extend to something useful such as perhaps starting an appeal to have it returned to steam.
I went to that gala, I remember two of the 4 wheeled coaches derailing in the yard at horsted Keynes! 😂
Great shot, two visiting tank engines leave a fog of smoke in the Kings cote tunnel

The line-up at the end was epic!
Sure was quite a sight.
Great footage mate, hope you had a lovely time, I was there yesterday:)
Thank you very much. Made the best of it despite the weather. Hope you enjoyed your day.

Thank you
Great Location + Interesting Train = Great Video. Thanks.
Thank you
Superb video as always, enjoyed the cavalcade at the end; what a selection of motive power! Thanks for posting your efforts.
Really good, nice job :)
Cheers
Going tomorrow looking forward to it going film out Horsted Keynes
The little LSWR cavalcade at the end warmed my heart... or maybe its the whisky
I know the feeling. I was very much impressed, and humbled by the sight.
Do you guys know whenever the adams radial will return to steam?
Not likely for a while

I was wondering where is the q class, then I looked left and ssaw it coming in before I could say anything
A good game of 'Hide and Seek'
I went there yesterday
Hope you had a good day
I would have been gobsmacked if they hadn't done the lineup at the end!!!!!
Certainly was a sight

Would the Radial have more practical use on the K&ESR? I'd love to see it in steam one day.
No,new vehicles and things
Calbournes trailing wheels look a bit dodgy in the first shot
Trick of the camera. The 50fps recording rate, vs the speed of rotation of the wheel. Occasionally they mess with each other.
13:18 what an odd move
