GreatLocation Great Location + Handsome Train = Great Video. Fun to see all the camera carriers lined up when a steamer and classy train are expected. Just like USA. Thanks.
Thank you for this lovely video, we were on the 13.25 right at the front of the Devon Belle, glorious being 5 feet from 60103's 'nose' on the up journey
Very well filmed & great video mate 👍😉 I'm not sure if I would go to see Flying Scotsman in action during this weekend, next Tuesday or during the Spring gala at the railway. But I think the gala event will be the best choice to go and see the famous engine as well Caledonian tank & Ivatt 2mt in action.
Excellent footage, Say what you like about Flying Scotsman but when she visits any heritage railway she does draw the crowds (and crucially much needed money)
Agree but surely the most over hyped, overrated kettle out there sorry.60163 is a more impressive loco as is the Stanier 'Dutchess' shame a 'proper' Peppercorn couldnt have been saved
Fr Cause she about it. She is like a book that tell many story’s. She is absolutely lucky to be saved from all those time she was about to be scraped. Cause these day steam locomotives are high price.
Wow what a fantastic video just subbed to you guys...i am doing a short doc on steam engines and i know this is very cheeky of me but may i humbliy ask if it would be poss to use some of your footage in the doc..we will give credit and a link to your channel.if not very sorry to have troubled you guys but if yer dont ask you.ll never know..take care stytch.😀😀😀
Thank you very much for the kind comments! I very much appreciate you asking before using the footage. While I have no reservations about the footage being re-used in your documentary, I would appreciate some more specific details concerning which clips are to be used. As such, please could you message me privately at: facebook.com/TheSouthernerYT/ This will also allow me to help you by providing details about specific clips, should you need them. I also greatly appreciate the credit, and link to the channel. Thanks, TheSoutherner.
I costs upwards of a couple of thousand pounds to steam a Pacific locomotive for a day. Given it's "Flying Scotsman", it's probably costing the Swanage Railway a lot more than that. To have the locomotive visit the railway in the first place probably cost even more... We're lucky to get 5 days.

Super video and stereo sound too. Thanks for posting.
Thank you very much
Superb video of this fantastic occasion. All three engines looking gorgeous. I’m glad to see it’s brought such a lot of attention to Swanage. 👍🏻

I respect your opinion, but I will never agree with it
Nice looking engine, but way too many crowds for me, I'm afraid.
I agree completely.

Yeah but don't tell me it isn't 100% worth it
It's nice, but it's not quite a Bulleid...
@@TheSouthernerYTChannel Of course not! But we musn't forget where Mister Bulleid learned his craft, now must we?
Trained, but not refined.
Mr southerner what do you think about the watercress lines bullied Canadian Pacific
