As a Seattle Mariners Fan, I say kudos & major props to The Orioles Organization! Wonderful to see y'all getting even better and capitalizing off last seasons huge success!
I’m thankful about the sale of the team that will allow these moves. If Burnes does well we might sign him now that the Angelos’s won’t be involved. This shocked me as all the noise was in Cease’s direction.
@bobjohnson-hz6pi The O's have the money to sign and keep these high price stars and hopefully this new ownership group that includes one of the all time O's greats actually cares about winning and does that.
@@adammiller3178 This new ownership group includes 3 BILLIONAIRES. Yes, BILLIONaires. Not saying they'll operate like the Dodgers, but they have plenty of money to spend and seem willing to do it.
Im 44 and even though I was alive I wasnt old enough to remember or celebrate the last time the O's won the world series. We have been teased a few times over the years but Peter Angelos was more worried about making money than winning. With the way things going and new ownership coming in I actually think we will all have alot of fun watching this team and actually get to celebrate a world series win or two in Baltimore.
As a Marlins an,im just glad we havent sold any of our stsrte yet. Soler might be gone in FA,but we will keeping pretty much everyone else. Though I just need them to add some players.
O's should now trade with Seattle for Gilbert. Seattle needs bats and O's have a few. Adds more strength too current rotation for next 3yrs. Allows Means to go to BP, build arm strength, strengthen BP (Hall replacement), and save arm for Post with Wells, Protects strength of O's rotation if Burns is not resigned, and relieves pressure of having to replace Burns (if need be). Win Win for O's
Facts Cashman has fallen sleep behind the wheel. He fail at getting Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell, Josh Hader and now Corbin Burnes. The current Yankees starting pitching isn’t going to cut it as Yankees contenders, especially with addition of Marcus Stroman. It could be another failing season.
NY had no shot at Yamamoto. He made it clear he wanted to only play for a west coast team because it’s closer to Japan. They also couldn’t outbid Baltimore for Burnes. But they could still sign Snell if they want to overpay because he’s asking for a lot.
My prediction is that DL Hall wins more games than Corbin Burnes. Corbin's era in 2021 was 2.43. 2022: 2.94. 2023: 3.29. This bares keeping an eye on. That is assuming Hall is a starter.
With the crazy trades out there, who the heck in Milwaukee thought this was a good trade? It's inexcusable to get so little for such a top pitcher. Fire all those who gave this trade the green light.
@@poyodiablo26 Yeah, I agree. All this talk of Cease or another starter is silly unless another team literally wants to unload a player for a bag of peanuts. Os are 7 deep in rotation options with guys who've proven themselves at the major league level. In fact, Hall would've been the only guy in the mix who had no previous starting experience. There are no question marks. When Dean Kremer and his 4.1 ERA is the 5th starter in your rotation, you don't need any more help. There are teams out there who wish they had someone like Kremer as their #1 or #2. Haven't really dug into the roster to see how many spots I would consider open, but I would expect them to have a bullpen job up for grabs as well as 1 or 2 position players (1 possibly being Holliday) including an outfielder.

From a milwaukee brewers fan, good luck to Corbin Burnes this season.😢
As an o’s fan you gonna like DL Hall he is solid if he is not doing good as a starter he will be good in the bullpen can be a nice setup guy
@@max10.. as long as he learns not to throw balls, which is probably the reason he was traded.
Been an O's fan since 1977. It's so great to seem them be relevant again. The future is very bright.
The 1971 Orioles had 4 20-game winners. That may never happen again. Maybe Spencer Strider can win 80 games.
Gonna miss him on my Brew Crew, but I can’t wait to see him get some run support finally. Always a Brewer in my heart.
I'm a dodgers fan but I'm glad to see Orioles going in the right direction and finally give a fight in the AL East.
A great move by the Orioles, Mike Elias knows how to run a baseball team
