Fiberglass mold making part 2 | Demolding, Sanding, polishing and finishing

Tutorial regarding finsihing of fiberglass molds.
We make a mold from a speedshape which is made of plastic. This process can be used with parts that are made of wood, metals.
This process helps in easily replicating parts.
In this video we explain how to make a mold for a part.
Mold is made using ISO polyester resin and fiberglass chopped strand mat.
We use sandpapers from grits of 400 to 5000.
Then polishing the mold using a coumpound to a high gloss finish.
