I really DO love your videos! They are just the way a rock hunter likes it: educational and explained by a professional geologist (=you), at least given with an approximate location in AZ and straight to the topic, no overwhelming additional crap! My brother in law lives in Phoenix and when I used to live in the U.S., I took his old Avalanche (and went to go rock hunting in areas where he wouldn't wanna know, where his car went back then 😁) to several locations such as Monarch Mine, Vanadine Mine, Peacock Mine and Burro Creek (from the difficult direction). In short term, even as an Austrian (we are also not short of minerals, especially beautiful quarz cristals), I have to say: Arizona is the Holy Land of rock hunting, I have never found better specimens anywhere in the world (haven't been to Minas Gerais in Brazil yet). To cut a long story short, please keep going with your excellent work and videos!😍😍😍

Six shooter canyon south of Globe. Geodes the size of watermelons, basketballs, and bowling balls. They were there in the 70's. Probably still are. Just walk the dry river bed.

Impromptu trips are always fun. Not dying in the desert IS a good thing. I like the dark contrasting outline around the one geod. Great explanation of how things happened. Keep having adventures!! See y'a next time. 😷⚒

The next time my friend's kids are in town, I'm taking the oldest one to Lake Pleasant to do a bit of rockhounding. She's 1. very lucky - found a beautiful geode in the backyard, 2. as wild about rocks as I am, & 3. super curious about how geodes form, how they can look so different, & just everything about them.

That was fun! I really like how you describe where and how rocks are formed. It makes them even more fun😃.

This is one of your better teaching videos. I very much enjoyed your explanations of how some of these geodes were formed along with examples you found. Great stuff!

You’re in my back yard!! Huge fan- and super excited to see you are in my neighborhood finding treasures :). My 10yr old daughter and I love watching your adventures. I recently bought some land up west of Seligman AZ - and have a bunch of interesting rock outcroppings - your channel inspires us to explore more. Have you ever explored that area? Would love to know what to expect or if you recommend any books to help identify these hidden treasures - Thanks and keep up the great work and content! ❤

So neat to learn from how you are able to show and explain things ❤

Can confirm there’s not a ton in the wash. I did a video on that second site and my best find was on the trail you take to get down to the wash.

Good evening oh my goodness how I love your videos I just recently started following you and I’d love the fact that I am learning so much each time me and my boyfriend are having a great time with them thank you. We are in town housesitting for a friend in. Carefree and have been out through California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Nevada doing rock hounding and we are watching the videos on thunder eggs at Lake Pleasant and I was wondering if you could possibly let us know which. What is the nearest road to the wash that you are in so we could possibly look around and see what we can find I would really appreciate it. If not, I would also understand you don’t want all this goodness to get out.

Love your videos. Very informative. I'd love to get to Arizona sometime to visit some of the places that you show. Rock collecting there is so different than here in Pennsylvania.

After Erin Corwins death, mines were really blocked off. I mean, I get it. But if someone wants to knock someone off and toss em in a mine, they will. They're murderers, not saints.
