I really like the plate of crystals that were exposed. Always good to get a titanite. But the other specimens at the end of the video....all I can saw is WOW! Big like from me.
You should have added the baking soda to the water acid solution when the rock was still in it. It would have neutralized the acid in the water and gotten all over the rock and it's nukes and crannies . Then the whole rock would be neutralized not just the top. Then when it stops bubbling you would pour iff the water , remove the rock and rinse it all well.
I really enjoyed your video. I suppose some of the other comments could be constructive criticism but I just think... Why? Either you find value and you like it or you move on. But that's me. Sending much love and gratitude from this brand new rock hound.
I mixed a third cup oxalic acid in a qt. of water and I saw no fizzing at all. I tried soaking crystals for 48 hours and here most of the crystals didn't disolve so no change. I dumped it and refilled it with hot water then mixed till all crystals disolved. I'm leaving it in for 72 hours. If that does work I'll have to grind it off. I'm trying not to alter the shape of my crystals so we'll see.
That was sure easy to clean ! Good video I liked the Smokey Quartz it would be nice if I could dig one up. It's nearly impossible to hear your voice your too far from the mic ! So how much did the big chunk weigh it looked like a back breaker. ?
Good attempt bro. I gave thumbs down for way too much camera movement and not enough editing. Good content though. This was my first of your videos so I'll give you another go. Thanks for at least trying. 🤓
i wasnt expecting that. nice crystals

David then you can use the acid again.

sound is quite low
💥🤯
What is worth anything ?
Was it worthwhile ?
I guess this try wasn’t the best result. You never know though. Sometimes you get nice stuff exposed underneath that is worth to a collector.
Nice vid bro. Pretty interesting stuff....
cache mole thanks for watching

Rick Cruz sorry about the sound. Backyard work. The voice not to heavy. Maybe 20-30 lb. I brought back heavier pieces lol
Good video!
