I'm glad she exposed herself to the K-Pop world; I'd be happy to see her succeed in it and be active in Korea and on Korean shows like this. I'm not familiar with this show, but if she auditioned for K-Pop Star, I can totally picture her in Antenna, doing her own thang. On another note, I actually like the version that Clara sang of this song on her yt channel years ago much better. She still sounds lovely, though.

More and more Asian kids have been trying to avoid clicking the race box on college apps in order to fight against affirmative action which puts Asians at a disadvantage when getting into college (not that it would change anything a last name like nguyen everyone knows what I am). I have half asian friends who have non asian last names who do not mark the asian box in fear of being at a disadvantage. Sorry for being so triggered, it's just that I, as a full asian, have faced so much pressure in school for the fact that I was asian. and As I apply for college apps the more upset I get for being racially programmed as automatically "smarter" because of my race
clara never fails to give me goosebumps omg she's literally so perfect!!! i'm so glad she came on this show!!! i really want people to see how great Clara C is omg!!!! she's literally the sweetest person ever! i saw her perform live with David Choi a few years ago and got her autograph and I'm just soooo excited her for her!! ahhhhh go Clara!!!
I'm honestly so proud of her. I've been a fan of her since I was around 8? I found her through Wong Fu, to ISATV, to her, herself. Re Listening to her older music is so refreshing to listen to, bittersweet. And I know she got discovered by her covering this exact song, and hearing her singing it again is just so great. I'm glad Clara's doing great, but I really wish she got more recognition for her work in America as well. I'm not being rude, but I honestly think Clara went back to Korea for another chance, because she hasn't really blown up in America. It breaks my heart. Such a risky cover to show case your talents, especially in this competition. Fortunately her voice and execution captivated the judges at the start and they heard all the way to the climax. I doubt many would be able to pull it off like Clara. I love this style of music. Wish I knew a better description for it rather than "jazzy"

I remember time i saw her on youtube singing 'I won't give up' by Jason Mraz , her voice on that video was so beutiful, so i just cannot forget till now. It is surprising that she was Korean-American. But in the other hand I'm wondering why she came all the way to Korea to do this small audtion(compare to what we have here in UK,USA), as far as i know she hits millions on youtube
She has a wonderful voice, but she had a lot of competition. I didn't really see her winning after seeing the people she was competing with tbh. She's still rly good tho
