Cool that you reacted to this.
The scary thing about this is that the video (as the name of it says) was released in 2020. When Russia invaded (further) Ukraine in 2022, they started it with an attempt to conquer an airport, not that much differently as in this video. Also what gave me chills is the newscast at the end. As the dude saying "Finland is at war" is an actual news anchor from the public Finnish Broadcastin Company and they also used the livery of them. Most of the "actors" in this were actual conscripts and reservists. And also this video was made before anyone in Finland thought that Finland would become a member of NATO.
If you want to continue with the military theme with Finland, then might I suggest these:
"Pohjoista suorituskykyä - Capability of the North"
    "Laskuvarjojääkärikoulutus - Paratrooper Training"
"Norther Forest 24 - Defending what matters". The most newest video of the FDF and with some allied action.
    And finally
"Combat Camera showreel 2023". The guys who make all these videos release a showreel every year.

As a Finn who has been to the army and refresher training, thank you for sharing, we have a long eastern border and it is an honor to go through army training and nowadays women can voluntarily do it as well and they are usually very motivated.

Now that Finland is a part of NATO, these things are not going to be any easier if an actual attack occurs, but atleast now, we will have the backing of all NATO countries, including the good ol' USA, so we do not have to stand alone, just hold off long enough for the back up to arrive. That gives me a lot of confort and optimism for future.

Still like the fact, that most plane deployments were not from airfields.

You look so frightened. Why? This film is supposed to secure you that Finland is willing and ready to defend itself. 😊

The plot was preposterous, the "enemy" would not send its forces piecemeal to be slaughtered. That being said, all the situations were very realistic, and the people in it were not actors or professional soldiers, they were well trained conscripts. Some have wondered why all the air force lingo was in English, but that's the international standard an we stick to it. All vehicle dismounts were sharp, the air terminal breach and storming was exemplary. Artillery action was as I remember it, though lacking the most modern gear.

      agree with that.
as signal officer i had the "honor" of travelling around .. well pretty much most of the garrisons.
costal jaegers are quite awesome but when i was taking care of comm center near utti and those paratroopers had landed some time ago and they bring us a cable to connect to our network, listen to me in what slot i put it in and then just run back to the forest likely making a radio transmitter/receiver.
i love those guys from my heart

@@yananasbanas In my opinion the air power is a the weak point. Despite having an air force of 60-ish Hornets, and quite modern AA missile systems, the eastern "enemy" would prevail in some days.
This is where some of Finland's strengths come in. The civilian defence bunker network is world class, and the initial (and subsequent) troops and war fighting machinery will be spread out in heavy forest. And of course the movement of the "enemy" will be heavily restricted to the roads, which are subject to sapper destruction and ambushes.

yes plot was a weird, but it was really nicely filmed and yes they didn´t show all the capablity.. also coalition with our brothers and sister in nordic.. would have been nice add on this..what comes the artillery they showed just briefly amos.. now we have nemo for addition.. but in the category of hype video this was nice..

Yes, in a way it wasn't realistic, but if Russia would concentrate enough forces close to our border in preparation for an attack, we would also mobilise our forces, wouldn't we? Thus, this was probably more of a scenario describing an attempt to surprise the other part. Remember that Finland wasn't ready for the attack in this scenario.
PS. Russia has sent a lot of its troops to be killed piecemeal in Ukraine...
