Nice that they let you bring your kid with you, my local junk yard won't let anyone under 16 into the yard, my kids always begging to come with me and I can't bring them with me.

Love the channel man it's awesome to see a kid actually take interest in cars and working on them my dad had me working in old chevys and diff cars when I was that age and now my 3 year old son is out working on car with me every time keep up the great work and never let anyone tell you that you can't do something..!!!
Exactly and thanks! I have been teaching my children what I would call “the right way” they spend time outside instead of on a tablet or watching tv. I tell them to research if they don’t know but also point them in the right direction. All 4 of them are gonna learn cars just so they know how to fix something if it breaks.
Yea most deff it help me out knowing what I learned from my dad and saved me allot of money and I intend to make sure my 3 kids have the same knowledge so they want have to pay loads of money to fix something simple also keeps there minds away from ask the bad things gong on in the world... @@bryanhinson987 Yea i info my children on everything going on in the world as well I hide nothing from them because they need to be prepared for the world we live in so they don’t expect it to be sun shine and rainbows. I also tell them not to stress it too much and we pray together as a family and go over the Bible and it brings us all a little more comfort but I am beyond mad at what’s going on in the world today. It’s all biblical for sure especially the mark of the beast I could get way into it but most don’t care about the most important thing in all of human history but if your ever interested let me know on Instagram or email

Hey man quick question about the auto to manual swap on my 2000 civic can I use my auto y8 intake and throttle Body or do I have to change to the manual 2wire setup
You can have that disc refurbished with fresh material pretty cheaply. There is a place up here called Kentucky clutch that's local that does it. I'm sure there is probably a business down in your location. 20$ for a kevlar puck disc and high pressure cover was super cheap.

Check out Sleep R Garage they did a k24 swap in a Starion using a toyota W58 and custom bellhousing but you could probably get some ideas/pointers from there built especially what they ended up doing for the intake manifold!
Yea been looking around and the k24 head has a little different design by the intake manifold vs the k20 but i already found a company that makes the adapter so ima get that. I unfortunately can’t do really custom stuff like the bel housing stuff. Way out of my area of expertise and I have no “connections” or friends who can help or anything so it’s all me solo. I’m gonna be getting the skunk2 ultra I looked into the s2000 but it won’t work for my k20 head
@@TexasHondaChannel They're a small channel too, they bought the bellhousing off a guy in New Zealand who does Kswaps on some weird euro kit cars, (I hit them up for his info cause I was trying to use a 5 speed ASIN/AR5 from a Pontiac solstice, but bell house to tranny bolt patterns are a lil off from toyota W58) However there is a company in New Zealand planning on doing custom bellhousing for Kserious to ASIN AR5 5 speed...let me see if I can find link to video where they show the air intake manifold they used...

I cant believe how much these yards just waste. You could easily pay for a couple guys to go through the crush pile and pull aftermarket parts and swap items like the suspension and two good wheels on that RX8

@@TexasHondaChannel understands that. Your building a 1 off truck. Enough views will eventually help off set cost. For me get everything I'd need depending on where I get it be roughly another 5k into my car. On top of the over 6 I already got into it. Already got more in it then it's worth

I’m surprise your junkyard allowed kids to go in. Here in California they won’t allow it you have to be 18 and over to enter any junkyard. But great video
