  • 600W PCIe x16 eGPU dock for the Beelink GTi Ultra series. The bandwidth is limited to PCIe gen 4 x8 and not full x16 but this is approximately double the bandwidth of oculink and several times more than thunderbolt and USB4 docks. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to connect the GTi14 Ultra. The GPU bracket did have to be disconnected to fit the GPU. And there is a connector somewhere inside for a m.2 pcie x1 SSD or m.2 wireless card.
Some key things to note about the power delivery of this GPU. There are two 8 pin power connectors each with conventionally 150W power limits and the PCIe x16 connector can supply 75W. This offers 375W total for safe power delivery for sustained loads. Most GPU use less than 375W but a few super power hungry GPU like the RTX 4090 can use 500W power. Users will be taking a risk going far beyond conventional limits.
A good 8 pin power connector can supply more than 150W. The highest claims I have seen is around 342W but with my math I'd feel a lot safer not going beyond 300W. Please please please understand that going beyond 150W will concern some people and this is a risk. The best way to minimize risk is to make completely certain the 8 pin connector is fully seated before use.
Be safe, have fun, and don't be afraid to ask questions before using a new tool!

Just wanted to share my experience: I bought this model without necessarily planning to get the dock, though that might change in the future. I agree with the SER8 recommendation for general use, but it wouldn't be suitable as my proxmox homelab server. One of my reasons for purchasing was to migrate my Plex server from my Synology 920+ (Celeron J4125). The big advantage of Intel processors in this setup is QuickSync. I got the GTi14 along with a Minisforum MS-01 (13900h) and tested both side by side. Both are fantastic machines, but I’ll be returning the MS-01.
By the way, I added another SSD and 96GB RAM to the GTi14 yesterday. Your video was really helpful, though the process was still quite cumbersome-definitely something that could be improved in future releases.

Did you plan to test it with it GPU Dock? 3DMark with EGPU will be interesting given the 8 PCIE lanes.

@Mia_RussiaFan i certainly do, just got everything setup and I'll try to push out some data as soon as I can. I am very curious to see if the 4060 performance matches other reviews since the 8 pcie bandwidth matches the 4060 exactly

Great video. I'm looking forward to the tests/review.
Can't quite understand their decision to put another pair of antenna connectors, seems a bit redundant.
One of the aspects I'd like to hear about is how the power buttons work. Does the power button on the mini pc power up the dock, or vice versa? Do you need to power them on independently?

My wifi reception was very poor using the dock, so I imagine it was out of necessity that they went with the laptop dock connection, which gives two extra pice slots. One for the wifi module and the other for the optional SSD. I like that they gave that extra expansion for the SSD.
In the end there were too many gotchas with this mini pc, I returned it and ended up building a very capable mid-town PC in the end because I realised I was trying to shoehorn my needs to fit into a mini pc rather than just building a PC.
On the Homelab side of things I actually went the other way around. My GTi14 had bad thermal throttling issues and the MS-91 suffered from it less.e
