Powerful and moving. You are not alone. I stand with Israel, and I do believe most of the free world does. There are ignorant, nasty vocal minorities abusing the freedoms they live under to abuse that very freedom. They are NOT representatives of the free democracies. Stay strong, stay safe.

I remember this fellow. I did my grocery shopping in Sderot for years. It's a wonderful little town. Israel has to get all these group off the borders or they face this all over the country. Without international interference, this would have been ovber years ago.

Even when we were massacred and persecuted by Christian Crusaders, Arab and Ottoman invaders, the British-led Jordanian Arab Legion, or more recently Hamas suicide bombers and rockets, our attachment never wavered.
It is in this same land where Jews miraculously revitalized the Hebrew language, rebuilt the institutions necessary for independence, re-engaged in rituals that are uniquely observed in the land of Israel, redeveloped the land and the economy so that by several magnitudes the Jewish and non-Jewish populations grew, and offered refuge not just to the remnant which survived the Holocaust, but also millions of Jews fleeing persecution from the Muslim Middle East, Ethiopia, and the former Soviet Union.
Today, Israel is a rich tapestry of diverse citizens, including over half of Jewish Israelis who identify as Jews of color and 20% of whom are Arab citizens.

We do understand because you have told us what it is you have seen and experienced. Without your stories we will not know as the media won't tell the world exactly what has happened because they were not there with their camera crew, but you were there and you must have hope that your story and the stories of Israelis will be heard. It is one way of defeating the propaganda war of Hamas because you have been an eye witness and that evidence cannot be refuted. Well done for being so brave. It's easy for people to chant pro Palestinian slogans, but they wouldn't want to live in Gaza. Hiding behind the ease and comfort of the west, their words become worthless.
I wish Israel were not so shy about showing the photos of the horror. Jews don't like parading their suffering, but this backfires. Most of the world is like sheep: they go where they're led. Israel, you are people too and there are people in the world who appreciate and respect all nations and ethnicities. You are matter and your families all matter just as palestines and any other nation. Only Israel knows what Israels feels and goes through.
The man is right; they killed, harmed, kidnapped many nationalities yet ALL country leaders have no taken a stand against terrorists and hamas, not palestines; the war being fought is to destroy hamas or what next for Israel? How many more Jews and Americans and Germans and British and Russians will be killed in the next attack? Yet foolish, biased people are protesting. Pro-palestine and anti-Israel are both the same in this instance because most are just biased toward the Israeli people when many have never even met Jews or been to Israel or had the decency to look into the truth and history instead of jumping on noisy bandwagons protesting emptily or on the basis of other people's bias.
