yes because you can tell a lot about somebody by a 2 sentence comment. thank you for your wonderful realisation. my life is complete in the knowledge of my place in the world. and that my opinion of radiohead covers is the glue that holds together my entire character. thank you so much. now i can die happy, you wonderful wonderful person.
i wish i had a time machine so i can jack all these 8-bit remixes and then travel to japan in 1983 and sell them to all the top NES gaming companies for millions then when SNES comes out i'll time travel again jack some more 8-bit remixes and sell it to gaming companies for a ridiculously high price :-D hot tub time machine i'll call it
pull your "knives out" when you get to the "paranoid android", you'll defeat him "just" in seconds, when you get to "palo alto" be sure to "meet at the aisle" with "faithless the wonderboy", careful, he could steal your "maquiladora" and make you "amnesiac".
Andrew Thomas even though its a limitation, that's what gave the nes era games that vibe, they had to make things that sound complete without even using chords... I find it cool.
Not sure what a "DCPM" track is ;-) You're pretty close though, the channels it has are two pulse waves (which are basically square waves but with configurable duty cycles), a triangle wave, a noise track, and one DPCM channel. You just swapped the C and P on the last one, it stands for digital pulse-code modulation.
I am fucking blown away, man. Like, Fucking blown away. I wish you were programming shit for Nintendo back in the day. Then we wouldn't end up with such lame soundtracks for games like Top Gear or Xcite Bike's. Fucking awesome, dude, I'm gonna go play some 8-bit systems.
Its up to you to help Radiohead avoid all the undead chicken voices! Use the D-pad to move left and right.
lol
The great thing about this, is that the song has that weird dungeon game sound anyway and putting it into 8-bit just feels right.
I'm only giving this 5 stars because I can't give it 6. Amazing.
jesus this comment is old
@@actualalpaca18 Whoa. Stars. The good old days, eh?
egolayer13 Wow and he’s still here
jesus, you're still replying!
@@dcxrtcvain4209 The internet is forever, baby.
It's almost like this song was meant to be 8-bit.
I think I do
It fits well
I love Radiohead.
Did you notice each part of the song sounds like a different stage for a game.
This would make great music for the Castle Level in an RPG.
Ikr... Damn, that would be epic
Ngl, this song reminds me of "sludge life" instead
This is somewhere between thinking about the song in your head and actually listening to the actual song
A wild Radiohead has appeared!
Radiohead used musical genius.
It's super effective!
Ears fainted.
Jonny Greenwood solos in 8-bit sound so close to real life Jonny Greenwood solos...
The second/A minor section (Ambition makes you look...) sounds really natural like this. That would've been perfect NES 'enemies around' music.
This song sounds like it was meant for 8-bit.
This is phenomenal. Best 8 bit cover I've ever heard.
OK Famicom
A spot-on re-arrangement of the original that I can imagine coming straight out of an NES or Master System game - awesome!! :D
Was expecting one of those midi 2 8bit songs but it sounds like you actually composed this, really amazing.
amazing stuff.
its so warm and fuzzy..
one of my favorite songs covered in the stylings of yesteryear..
Spot on 8bit mix. I love this. Great job.
reminds me of being of childhood...which feels like an age ago yet a blink of an eye ago at the same time..life is short
I concur.
The rain down part especially - I was almost in tears. I'm fucking serious.
Wow, this is so damn accurate! I love it
Love the riffs...haha
I would love to see the Paranoid Android video in a VIDEO GAME GRAPHIC-STYLE...

This is almost as good as the normal song. =] Good job.
8-bit holy shit.
Can you imagine an old RPG game called Paranoid Android with this starting musical theme? That'd be the best game of all times!!
Absolutely fantastic.
i want this as a mp3 ringtone for my android phone as well
I can't enough of the bass in this.
Sweet! Love the 'drum kit'.
Perfect
Sick!!!
These were made 10 years ago and I'm just finding this. These are incredible

This is so great!

classic video
Oh yeah, this is pretty good stuff. I love this song.
awesome! :P
how the hell can you dislike this? brilliant work
awesome :O
240p makes it sound like the authentic "RF cable/Channel 3" crappy sound quality compression that we all knew and loved as a kid.
pull your "knives out" when you get to the "paranoid android", you'll defeat him "just" in seconds, when you get to "palo alto" be sure to "meet at the aisle" with "faithless the wonderboy", careful, he could steal your "maquiladora" and make you "amnesiac".
gotta love the drums
The crackle of pigskin
OMG, I would've loved the music in an old NES game!!! Kudos.
It sounds unfinished. It's missing like 3 or 4 parts...
Late reply, but a NES can only have wave tracks, a noise track and a DCPM track.
It's an unfortunate artistic limitation, but I understand it.
Andrew Thomas even though its a limitation, that's what gave the nes era games that vibe, they had to make things that sound complete without even using chords... I find it cool.

wow, this could have worked in so many NES games back in the day. lol
Best Radiohead 8-bit song, from far !
10 people are accidently looking at their computers upside down and thought the thumbs down button was thumbs up.
Wow. Amazing. Where can a guy go to get an high quality mp3 of this and your other R-8-iohead tunes?

Nice Job!
It's like the creepiest and most epic level of Castlevania.

Testament to Radiohead's talent I must say.
nice one!
I love it!
I want an entire 8-bit Radiohead album!

Gawd that would be perfect.
