I bought this a couple of months ago and recently began shooting with the 16-80 f4 and the colors are nothing short of gorgeous. It’s not weight balanced with that lens but I don’t care. Results + the price point is fantastic. Also have the Fuji 35 f1.4, 16 f2.8, and Laowa 65mm 2.8 macro (manual). Very happy with these. The issue I have is with the buffer when shooting raw + large jpeg. Decreasing jpeg size or just shooting jpeg helps or resolves issue.
The X-T10 pairs very well with the XF 18-55mm f2.8-4.0 zoom lens. I've gotten excellent output from that combo. It is what I used to photograph the birth of 2 of my children.
My X-T10 broke a few days ago so i had it replaced with another X-T10. I even shot a wedding party with it. I also use it for my stock photography. I love the camera. I don't need a X-T20 or X-T30 etc... Even though they have more megapixels and more specs.
Totally agree with you. I just bought one used and am waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I have already bought the adapter so I can use my many Nikon lenses on it as well as extra batteries.

Hi. I just got an X-t10. Yes, in 2023! I got a Samurai DSLR Mc digital 52mm 0.5 wide lens with Macro lens with it. I'm trying to figure out what adapter or other accessories do you I need to attach it to my camera. Would you please help me? Thank you!
I use my X-T10 for my videos. I think it works well. I just am not a fan of the 2.5mm jack to plug in the external mic. I love the form factor of the x-t10! very beginner friendly.
Ok so here's the thing, I'm in 2020 and I want exchange my lumix FZ1000 for a mirrorless camera on which I'm gonna use FD canon and M42 vintage lenses that I already have from film cameras. I'm now hesitating between : XT10 with XC 16-50 f/3.5-5.6 at 280€; XT20 body only for 350€ or lumix G7 with 14-42; 25/f.2 and 45-140 for 300€ What should I get according to you ? Is the XT10 still good in 2020 ? I know the censor is better on XT10 than G7 but G7 has 3 lenses and more versatility.
The Xt10 is a great camera and if you decide to only use manual focus lenses that will work very well with focus peaking. If you want a bit more “umpfff” xt20 will be a great buy (a bit more future proofed). As for the Lumix I never shot Panasonic cameras but I only heard good things about them. 👍
I am currently using an canon eos 1300d and want to upgrade to something smaller and with overal better performance. I was looking at bying a used fujifilm x-t10 body in pretty much brand new condition with a fujifilm xf 35mm lens for around €450,- and selling my current set up (i figure i can get 300 euros for my current camera with 2 lenses). What do you think about this upgrade?
Oh yeah. It’s an amazing little toy. The Af is not perfect but with the right prime you will be very happy. Impressive in low light for it’s age (up to 3200)
This question comes and goes at least 5 times a week. To determine your needs I first need to know what are you aiming to do with it? Is it just “I need a camera, my phone is so boring” or “I want to start into photography” or “I know what I am doing, I need a better tool to help me grow”? If you can answer this questions I bet I can put you on a, let’s say, less winding path. I can’t pin point a camera, but I can show you the way to understand what you need. Hope that helped.👍
@@CrisConstantin thanks for your reply sir. basically i have decided that I would just invest on a camera rather than a premium phone with good camera for social media for thats the sole reason why i would buy the phone actually. im considering to in line myself in photography as well. i would just want to start so that i can learn the basic. then eventually upgrade to a much better premium camera. thank you!
Now we have the motive😆. From what you said I believe that the best for you will be a camera easy to learn and easy to use but one that packs future proof features (Manual exposure, 16/24mpx, focus peaking...) so here are my recommendations: XT10/Xt20 (great small and powerful cameras, well featured) , sony Nex6/7 or a6000/6100 (great for video and photography, hybrid is the future...apparently), a higher tier but still affordable will A7II/XT1//CanonRP...Now, I only mentioned mirrorless cameras because that’s where the future is, and it will be easy to share your photos to your device and post them online in 2min. PS: If you are not looking to shoot in low light/night/dark places the micro4/3 cameras like Panasonic G series as well as Olympus (they are discontinued so cheaper for sure) are a great option as well (photography and videography). Hope this helped and let me know if I can help you with anything. Cheers and happy camera hunting. Ps: try to find a used one in great condition and save for amazing lenses ( the glass is more important that the body). Vintage lenses are a great option and they will teach you how to focus and slow down for better photos and less snapshots)👍😁
@@CrisConstantin great! thanks for these inisights sir! one thing to add up. i came across the fujifilm xt10 and sony a6000. can u recomend any lenses for a6000? i opting to go for the sony.
Definitely! It’s and amazing small easy to learn camera. Slap a 27 f2.8 or a kit lens on it and start shooting. The image quality is great and it will teach you the basics of photography. It’s a small professional camera suitable for everyone IMO.
I would say the x30 will be easier but if you like to have control on your lenses Xt and xe series are better. For me it’s what’ smaller and gets the shot
I am not entitled to tell you which one is best. Both cameras are amazing and it all depends on your needs. If you consider yourself a light shooter and need a future proof camera that will ensure the transition to a new body without investing much in ecosystem, than you should keep the xT10. But if none of these matter than Nikon is as good of an alternative as it can be. My question is, do you really need to sell one? Why not keeping them both and use them for different projects accordingly.
@@CrisConstantin essentially because I shoot more with analog and only use digital occasionally. Hello to everyone . I can't decide between X-T10 and X-T20. In the country I live in, the T20 is sold for twice the price of the T10. Is it worth paying twice price?
T20 is a great upgrade from T10. But depending on your skill and use of camera T10 can be an amazing tool. If you need better af, bigger resolution and faster readouts for the sensor, T20 is your bet. If you are shooting personal projects, slow pace objects, family stuff, T10 is more than enough. The xtrans 2 sensor in T10 is more pleasing (color wise) straight out of the camera (Jpegs) and in my testing better in controlling noise at high iso (1600 and above). Hope that helped👍
I am curious if it has clean HDMI out and unlimited runtime. Been trying to find it online but I'm surprised by the lack of information on this camera out there.
If you want to do video on XT10 I won't recommend. Xt20/30 are way better, but it only gets to whatever you need in terms of quality/workflow/needs. I use a lavalier mic for my yt videos and a shotgun mic for outside or vlogging.
